1. Who is your favorite male anime character?
All of the hawt ones that make me go kyaaah~! But really, there’s too many favorite males characters in my harem. So, I’d say my top 5 (in no particular order) would be… Hibari Kyouya from Reborn, for his badass loner attitude. You can give me your death bite any day. Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin, because his story is by far one of the best in anime that I’ve come across and this guy is a total BAMF. Urameshi Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho, not only is he from an awesome animanga but his delinquent attitude wins me over. Ryosuke Takashi from Initial D, not only is he rich, he’s smart and drifts like a boss. You can give me a ride any day baby. ALL of the HAWT GUYS in The Prince of Tennis, no explanation needed.
2. Who is your favorite female character?
Kusanagi Motoko. In charge, intelligent, BAMF and the lead of a good series plus an awesome classical movie. Other than Motoko, there’s Kamiya Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin, Seras Victoria from Hellsing, Tomoe Hotaru from Sailor Moon, Priss Asagiri from Bubblegum Crisis and Tenjou Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena.
3. What is your favorite anime soundtrack?
Wow, another hard one because there’s just so many OSTs out there that I like. For a long time now, I’ve always liked Record of Lodoss Wars, Tenkuu no Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin (TV/OVAs) and Ghost in the Shell soundtracks. As for more recent ones, I enjoy listening to the Ao no Exorcist and Guilty Crown soundtracks.
4. What is your favorite anime opening + animation?
Really? I’m finding that having a favorite of something is a hard thing when there’s so many options out there. So, I’ll go with an all time favorite…
Record of Lodoss Wars: Kiseki no Umi by Sakamoto Maaya. The animation at its time was beautiful and I still think it is today. There’s color symbolism and the character art is so wonderfully presented in the opening sequence along with the music. The feeling you get from the song, the translation and sequences give me a feeling of excitement and awe. You can tell that this anime has some sort of epic journey.
5. What is your favorite anime ending song + animation?
Almost all of the Gundam 00 ending songs and we know that the animation was gooooood. But if I had to order it, I’d go with… Friends by Stephanie, this song is just so touching along with the warm hearted team work from the guys. Wana by The Back Horn, The Back Horn = awesomeness and their music is so sexay… those vocals are so mmm. Trust You by Yuna Ito, another touching song where you can really feel the message being conveyed. Prototype by Chiaki Ishikawa, now we get the pairings of couples in this one and it all feels so tragic but there’s just something about it…
6. What is your favorite anime scene?
Any time Echizen Ryouma says “Mada Mada da ne“, because you know that he’s about to kick some butt.
7. If you could meet an anime character who would it be?
Any of the hawt bishis in my harem. Mmmmmm.
8. What anime character is most similar to you in terms of personality?
Chigasaki Mayuko from NieA_7. The struggle of a student who doesn’t want to depend on others due to pride. Working to make ends meet and no parents around to rely on. Not as extreme as her but there’s similarities.
9. What is your favorite thing about anime?
The endless possibilities in story.
10. What is your least favorite thing about anime?
Those unsatisfying endings like where there’s really no endings or it’s left too open. Where there should be a second season but you know there won’t be one (Giant Killing S2 WHERE ARE YOU!).
11. Who are your favorite anime couple?
Himura Kenshin and Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin.
Then there’s also Winry x Edward from FMA and Yusuke x Keiko from Yu Yu Hakushou.
12. Who is your favorite anime animal?
Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou. So hilarious and even badass in his true form.
13. What anime would make a good game?
Black Lagoon. It would be a cool action RPG but instead of Rock being the main, you can choose Revy or anyone from the team. Then Balalaika, Mr. Chang and Roberta can be side story characters you can play to see their stories.
14. What game would make a good anime?
Most game to anime conversions haven’t been all that impressive aside from the Tales of Vesperia movie. Man, I can’t really think of a game that I’ve played that I’d like to see as an anime.
15. What was the first anime you ever watched?
Macross. Then there was Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon as it aired in Japan.
16. Do you think you’ll ever stop watching anime?
No, but I don’t watch anime as much as I used to.
17. What is your favorite genre of anime?
Action and Sports mainly. But I also like Sci-fi, Fantasy, Supernatural, RomCom, Shounen, Shoujo.. yeah almost everything. It just depends on my mood.
18. What is your least favorite genre of anime?
Yuri, Moe-Ecchi crap, and those damn stupid harem romcom slices.
19. Are you open about watching anime with people you know?
Yeah, of course. Why wouldn’t I be? Maybe if it was yaoi… hah online people are okay but not real life.
20. Have you ever been to Japan?
Yes, I lived there for ~5 years. Oh how I miss Japan… Maybe I shall go for my next vacation if I can find someone to go with me.
21. What anime was the biggest let down for you?
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. I still haven’t finished it.
22. What anime was better than expected?
Hajime no Ippo. I wasn’t expecting such an old animated anime about boxing to be so good. I wish that they made another season with Ippo going for the world title.
23. What is the best anime fight scene?
Damnit, that is such a hard question. There’s just too many awesome fight scenes out there. But if you want one from me, at the top of my head.. there’s Ippo’s title match fight against Sendo in Hajime no Ippo. That dempsey roll combo was so epic.
24. Who is your anime husbando?
As of lately, it is Atobe Keigo. Not because he’s filthy rich, but his high and mighty attitude is just so sexay. But really, my husbando changes, so I have multiple husbandos.
On another note, I found out that if I get a divorce, my ex gets like half of my work company stocks money when it cashes out. ZOMG NEVAR NEVAR!
25. What was your favorite video game as a child?
Bahamut Lagoon, Seiken Densetsu 2, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, and Front Mission. Then there was the occasional fighting games like Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat and Samurai Spirit that I’d play with my brothers. The loser has to pass on the controller and man I got blisters on my thumbs from trying to do combos.
26. Most Embarrassing moment?
I was on a field trip in the 2nd grade visiting an island temple. We thought it was fun to slide down on the side of a stair stone rail. Well, found out later that my pants was ripped and you get the picture. Had to use my jacket to cover up.
27a. Can you drive?
Yeah. If I could drift and if I smoked, I’d be like Takumi’s dad.
27b. Do you own a car?
Yeah. When I got my license right before Winter break in December and my parents surprised me with my first car (which I still drive) after the new year. It’s a 2005 Dodge Neon.

Either one. I’d like to have a husky puppy but I have no time to care for a pet and you have to pick up after them… no thanks.

I’m a 13.5 year old asian/pacific islander with tan skin, dark brown eyes, long wavy black hair that goes almost close to my bum and my baby face deceives people of my age. HAH
32. What would you name your first child?
Dunno. Will figure that out when the time comes.
33. What is the worst injury you have ever had?
When I was 4 or 5, my brother and I sneaked out of the house to ride our bikes. He stopped so I bumped into him from behind and when we got home things seemed fine but I was taken to the hospital and had to stay there a some days. They even had one of those tube needles in my arm drawing blood or something and I they wouldn’t let me eat for days. I have no idea what was the problem and still don’t. When I asked my dad recently about it, he doesn’t remember. Darn my good memory<_<;
34. What is your worse habit?
Procrastination. hi5 Miyu~! Team Procrastination. Also, falling asleep in class. I just can’t help it if the instructor lectures on and on and on blah blah blah.
35. Do you drink or smoke?
I’m a social drinker like Jrow. But I do it all responsibly and if I have to work the next day, I sometimes don’t even drink. As for smoking, I first tried it when I was 10 and then a few times in middle school because of peer pressure. But not since then and I find cigarette smoke nasty now.
36. Do you have a tattoo?
Nah. I would get one if I knew what I wanted but it would have to be something really significant but really I don’t really care for one.
37. Are you a morning person or a night person?
I’m a night person and I wish that I could fix my sleeping schedule but man it’s hard…
38. Have you ever slept past midday?
Many times. I work swing shifts and a good amount of them are late at night. So, I just stay up late and wake up a hour or so before time to work.
39. Do you regret anything?
Yeah, there’s a good amount of things that I regret but I’d prefer not to list them down.
40. Can you count the number of friends you have on one hand?
Considering Twitter and Facebook, I’d say no. As for people who I consider friends that I physically interact with on a every other day basis or so, I’d still say no. Though, I’m bad with keeping up with others but I consider a good amount of my co-workers as friends I keep up with a social life.
41. Do you wear glasses?
Mainly when driving, watching a movie or in dire need of seeing far away. Other than that, I can live without having to see the details far away.
42. Are you a picky eater?
Most of the time no. When you’re on a budget, it’s hard to be picky. But when I’m in a bad mood or having a bad day, I just can’t help it.
43. Would you die for someone?
For my family and 1 best friend.
44. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
To be able to grant wishes. Then I’ll wish for multiple superpowers instead of just choosing one. Yeah, that’s greedy but so can having a superpower.

Not really. I did a little when I was a kid.

I’ll be famously rich.

OMG Rurouni Kenshin. It’s the anime that solidified my otaku-ness. And Kenshin x Kaoru. KYA! <3 Have you seen the live action trailers? ACK. My inner fangirl is FIRED UP.
And Prince of Tennis. ACK. I do love Atobe-sama. Tezuka will always be my favorite, though.
I didn't think anyone would remember NieA_7 though. I loved that anime although most of my peers found it boring. It was a kind of lazy but poignant slice-of-life which I really liked. I especially love the ending song. Until now I have it on my playlist.
Also, you must be the only one on Metanorn who didn't listed sports anime as their one of their favorite genres. 😀 Guess everyone's different that way.

I haven’t seen the live action trailers yet for Rurouni Kenshin.. probably because I’m not as excited for it. But was however excited for the remake OVAs. Man… Rurouni Kenshin, FMA:B, TeniPuri, and Yu Yu Hakushou.. if I owned the DVDs for them… my anime dream would almost be complete.
A few weeks ago, Tezuka was my hubby but this past week has been Atobe XD I just finished re-watching the TV series last month and OVAs last week. Taking my time catching up on the new episodes XD
Yay for NieA_7. Not many people I talk to know of it. It is pretty good for a slice of life that throws in aliens into it. The comedy isn’t always on the spot in that series now but it’s still good. Yeah, that ending song is pretty nice :3

It was pretty cool living in Japan. I lived on a naval base but the mall was close by so I could go out and shop. I collected Sailor Moon cards back then hahah spent a lot of my yen on that. The food is yumm and there’s spas… so cool. New Years is cool because you can buy fireworks that you can shoot into the sky.

#3 – The GitS soundtrack is great. Cyber Bird is far and away my favorite track from that OST, but there’s so many other good ones like Velveteen and such.

#22 & #23 – Ippo was fantastic! I remember a friend showing me and a buddy the first sparring match with Ippo & Miyata and I went home and first thing I did was get the rest of those episodes. Such a cool show, and with hundreds of chapters, I wish they’d do at least a 4-cour for season 3.
#35 – I, as a responsible adult, shouldn’t be letting a 13.5 year old drinking with me. But… I know Ness is awesome so I let ’em drink anyways!

GiTS soundtrack is awesome huh? I have it XD My favorite would be Monochrome and then if I just want some intrumentals, it’s fish~silent couise. But yeah, if you haven’t listened to it… the Escaflowne OST is pretty good if you want good instrumentals or even Kenshin (as always).
Yeah, I secretly caught up with Natsume Yuujin-chou series. Hehe. It’s good stuff! Hope there’s another season with more of Matoba.
Cool, glad to find another person who likes Hajime no Ippo. Speaking of which, I’m due to rewatch the series again. I do with that they continued on with it having Ippo go for the world title like he promised. Man, there’s so much good humor in that anime despite it being targeted to shounen.

Back then when it was airing on TV in Japan, we’d record it so I wouldn’t have to worry about missing anything hehehe. XD But yeah when I left Japan and eventually Toonami came to be, I would rush home too!
Manipulate an anime’s story? Hmmm, I’d certainly make it so certain animes that I found unsatisfying end wise would be changed. Other than that, I wouldn’t mess much with an anime’s story because it is what makes that anime so enjoyable – it’s own different story (aside from the usual predictable animes that seem to just be cheap money makers). Or, I could just be trying to dodge your questions and having to overthink things late at night XD
