Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi – 04

Mmm…tentacles~

Taito and Himea take refuged in the school from the blood rain, and go to find Gekkou who conveniently is on his way to find them…before walking into some random wormhole. All I can say is, good choice. So, yeah, Taito can’t get a hold of him. Bigger problems start arriving for them though, as a squelchy, sticky…rapey sound starts closing in on them.

Himea gets all strung up in delicious tentacles. They manage to turn her yandere and she starts killing Taito with the tentacles that are now on her side. Ba’alskra seems to be the “other” (more male-sounding) Himea, and he/she/it is bitter about Himea leaving her for Taito. They have a bit of a cat and mouse fight before Taito launches himself out a window.

at least it didn’t turn out like Tower of Etruria

Haruka tries calling Taito, feeling neglected, and he smartly answers. It’s not like he’s being hunted or there are more important things going on…And surprise, surprise the tentacles find him! Oh, and Haruka’s eyes change colour. Ba’alskra keeps killing Taito but he remains steadfast in trying to pull Himea back into the drivers seat of her own body.

It starts working, and Himea’s image appears multiple times on the glass windows. Taito makes a frantic dash at Ba’alskra, but is skewed by a tentacle, using up his last life. Himea comes to her senses, destroying Ba’alskra.

Or so we thought, when Himea comes to herself she asks Taito to make love to her and just has that look in her eye of something not being right with her. The ED has never been so appropriate, with all the versions of Himea clawing at the original.

It’s true, being exposed to tentacles turns you into a horny slut

This is me paying for that Aki fanservice in Kamisama Dolls last week, isn’t it?

Sigh~ Oh well, boys…enjoy -_-

END THOUGHTS

I have mixed feelings about Ba’alskra. Himea’s yandere form was pretty entertaining, and her crazy bloodshot eyes were a neat design element. It seems such a waste, then, to have him killed off so soon. Though the reveal of Himea’s ensuing wonkiness at the episode’s end is encouraging. With Hinata warning Gekkou about her, and her inability to be “tamed”, I’ve been waiting for a more caniving, salacious personality to come out in her. I wasn’t buying the whole moe attitude, so if she’s finally discarded it for the fowl temptress gig I’ll be cheering. We’ve already got a moe girl anyway; Haruka is still causing wide spread diabetes with her cwute little face.

Btw, Haruka’s also got a split personality. She’s a spy. I can’t help but feel she got the better trade up, somehow.

The reveal was slipshod, but I can see it going in an interesting direction. Multiple personalities seem to be the theme of Kuro Usagi, my guess is the makers have watched Sybil one too many times. My main complaint this episode was it felt very simillar to the others. Same formula, and dialogue. Taito loves Himea, Taito will do anything to protect Himea, yadda yadda. This episode only stood out for it’s tame yet practical use of tentacles.

Gekkou and Mirai’s random dissappearance into the tunnel of death seemed badly placed. I mean, why introduce it if you’re not going to do anything with it this episode. All the crazy shit with Ba’alskra was going on I’m sitting there thinking “What happened to Gekkou?”. It was unessissarily distracting, and didn’t need to be introduced this episode. I think I’ve made that point about Kuro Usagi before, I don’t like the way things are revealed. The story doesn’t flow well at all.

I knew the blood rain was bad but I didn’t know it severs body parts. Time to get an umbrella. There’s no way of telling how this story will go. But it’s not bad.

Taito was killed in some pretty ugly ways. Especially being gored in the face. Ouch!! And the tentacles doing the job and being Ba’alskra control look like living jelly.

Himea is turning out to be a very malicious and using yandere vampire. The way she was with Ba’alskra was like Kaname Kuran from Vampire Knight. Using someone to spend time with you untill it’s time to be with one you really want. But what was that all of a sudden at end? Asking Taito to make love to her? Didn’t see that one coming?

Interesting. Seems Haruka is gonna have a bigger part in the story than I thought. I thought she was going to be another useless love interest who wouldn’t have much screen time. A split personality? That’s icing on the cake.

It must be that lethal knife like rain on loan from the X movie. I think they’d need something like a steel umbrella to stop that stuff.

Taito getting killed in various different kinds of gruesome ways is the best part of this show! I have to admit I love it whenever he looses and arm and picks it up to use as a weapon. I lol so hard everytime.

I wonder just how graphic Kuro no Usagi is going to go sometimes. I don’t think Taito will have sex with her though, he knows shit ain’t right and pushed her away.

Oh hey look lots of jello this episode! Woooooo!

And split personalities ahahah nice stuff this episode I Want to know more about Haruka going all yellow eyes. Reminds me of Supernatural, oh yes guess shes going to have a interesting roll coming up soon.

Sooo is Himea really a full on Yandere now? ;D

    • Hime says:

      Hehe, yes, jello

I thought of supernatural too funnily enough! xD If she starts rocking around in an Impala I will be so friggin happy…I miss that car T_T…

Hopefully Himea will stay yandere. I want to see her and Hinata duke it out. In fact…I just want to see Hinata.

im rooting for haruka more than himea.
I feel like taitoXhimea romance is taking up too much of screentime and gives less for the plot to develop.

I do commend taito for being a bit smarter(even if he still made a foolish decision near the end) when he decided to retreat for a while instead of being too stubborn and hot-headed like a lot of annoying characters I know.

and yeah, I hope baalskra is still alive in there somehow. id really like it if it somehow turns out that he’s in there and will sacrifice himself to get rid of the horny himea personality.
it would both be badass(like what jolf e. kembly did in FMA brotherhood) and be bittersweet to show how he still cares about himea that he’ll do the heroic sacrifice for himea to live freely.

    • Hime says:

Their romance is getting very samey and stale, it’s just the same stuff over and over again. Now that she’s yandere I hope they can shake it up a bit.

I was really surprised he ran away, I was prepared to sit through more inane shit I’d seen before, but he actually did something smart…even if he did revert to being stupid again after about 5 minutes.

Sadly, Haruka will NEVER win…it’s just the way shows like this go.

    • Hime says:

      Yup 🙁

But know knows, Taito does have a thing for lolis…and split personalities apparently.

  5. Elyon says:

So like…if the sky was raining blood, why didn’t anybody else notice?
Eh, I wasn’t crazy about this episode. I thought it was weird how they suddenly introduced a split personality for Himea out of the blue like that.

Well, at least there was tentacle rape…=P

    • Hime says:

Remember the school got evacuated in the last episode.

I expected a little more build up to the reveal of her yandere self, but it wasn’t even really her, it was some manly chick with what seemed to be it’s own conciousness.

But, yes, at least we have the raping 😀
