Cassie versus Sattellizer round three?!

Foshizzel: Well things have been getting somewhat interesting! Nothing amazing of course, with all the events in episode ten let’s hope the action scenes get boosted up this time around. Nothing much going on for me, other than Metanorn’s visual novel being made! I recommend you play it a few times even if you get a bad end try again! Time for the review with my blog buddy Ness!

Ness: Heya people. Not much has been up with me besides lots of work and school is starting this week. It’s going to be such a busy term but hey, that’s just how things are. Winter animes are coming to an end and oh how I can’t wait for this series to be over with one episode left.

Plot this week continues with the Nova form girls continuing their raid on the West Genetics school, lead by Cassie who eventually break through and arrive to battle Satellizer,Rana and Genessa. Also the discovery of how to “cure” the Nova form, by breaking the gem on the chest to return the girls to normal.

So before Cassie and her nova form crew can bust down the doors to the main Pandora, they have to deal with the B team of Attia, Cleo, Arnett and Ingrid. It was nice to finally see Attia fighting for once instead of running her mouth, however during the fight Cassie and another Nova form rush past them while they were distracted and head to the room being guarded by Satellizer, Rana and Genessa.

Go team B! You have all the silver haired fighters.

Pro tip when dealing with Nova form girls, aim for the BRIGHT ASS CRYSTAL.

Cassie-“I challenge you to a fight! No hair pulling please”

Sattellizer-“GRRR I WILL SMASH YOUR FACE WITH MY BOOBS”

Cassie runs in and attacks Rana randomly! And everyone just WATCHES HER get stabbed why? I think they are just ready to be finished with this show honestly Hahah. But this does not stop Rana from being badass and taking challenges Cassie, Gennessa jumps in to help but gets owned fast! Cassie’s nova form is damn powerful. Now it’s up to the main characters Aoi and Satellizer to defend the final door.

Rana- “Don’t worry I got this guys! You can totally go drink some tea”

During the fight Satellizer cracks the gem on Cassie’s chest, this causes her to snap back to her old self and says a few words to Satellizer and Aoi. This causes Satellizer to have a sudden flash back and yes a newtype scene! With nudity too, thought I was watching Gundam for a moment there. And she finally figures out Aoi just wanted to be her partner and protect her, not some creepy sis con that she thought he was.

Cassie! Nooooooo!! I felt so sad for her here –sadface-

While Satellizer is busy having daydreams about Aoi, Cassie regains control and has a freak out not wanting to fight anymore! This was easily the most dramatic scene so far next to Satellizer’s past life. And she just stands by watching Cassie scream, guess there wasn’t much to do for her. The episode ends with one of the Nova form with a drill weapon standing in the final room, guess they are screwed for now!

Foshizzel: Not a bad episode this week compared to last episode, I enjoyed the fighting this time as well. Compared to most winter anime with fighting, Freezing so far has decent animation too but they did have a few animation errors this time. I can overlook that thou since the fighting is quick, fans of the blood and screams will love this episode. Yes it is mostly Satellizer’s blood and of course Rana’s thrown in too.

I was happy to Attia doing something this time! Yes she probably is the most hated in this series due to all the drama she stirs up around the main characters. I was curious to see her weapon! Then I was not impressed with another chain based one ah well she is a favorite of mine. I was getting annoyed when Rana got attacked and the others kind of stand around watching! What the hell! Then again Rana kicks butt anyway so I didn’t mind that too much; the other characters are kind of dumb to that type of thing.

Satellizer versus Cassie was also decent for me; I loved all the music this time in this episode too! Really want to get the soundtrack lots of epic music. My only complaint with Satellizer is she finally figured out Aoi just wants to be a partner with her, like now all of a sudden she figured this out? Guess this is to be expected in a show like this. Can see it now thanks to that she will become powerful with the power of LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP! Hahahha well only a few more episodes to go! Hope you all enjoyed Freezing!

Ness: With this anime coming close to an end, what more can I say besides how nice it is for the series to finally have some actual story plot. I know that I mentioned this last review, but I just have to make that clear. I’m glad that there was some good action in this episode. I was actually confused at the beginning of this episode because I believe the end of episode 10 had the possessed Pandora’s infiltrating the last level to where Satelizer and the group were. But this episode 11 had the possessed Pandora’s meeting up with Attia’s team. Good to see those girls getting some action and Attia actually fighting. As well, seeing Elizabeth in combat was pretty cool. Good to know that she isn’t like Attia’s team, in the sense that she doesn’t give the stuck up girl feeling.

I find that it taking the team a while to figure out the obvious weakness of the possessed Pandora’s was quite stupid. Yet, good thing that they didn’t have to kill their fellow Pandora’s. When Cathy Lockehart infiltrated to where Satelizer’s team was, it was very humorous that Ganessa got taken out first. As well, Rana having to save Ganessa was pretty cool and telling Ganessa how she should step aside for not being able to use Accel. How Ganessa can boast about being number 1 and not be as skilled is just annoying. But yes! Rana got to save the day but too bad she didn’t make it through because of course, Satelizer has to step up to the plate.

The whole Cathy trying to fight the corruption while fighting Sattelizer was pretty much expected. Seems to usually happen when a character is possessed. Glad to see some blood and a little gore this time! But what happened to Sattelizer powering up? She didn’t use that same power she used against Ganessa that needs a Limiter. Maybe she will bust that out next time. Though, I’m unsure what to expect besides more fighting for the next episode.

Round 99 start-o!

Next week! Satellizer fights Cassie again!? Looks like she gets to go all out, hopefully she does the baptism for Aoi to increase her power. I did see lots of white hair and glowing which is always a good thing.
