It’s the moment I’ve been waiting for! And some of you, too… maybe.
That’s right, it’s time for more MUSIC!!! This time, I’ll be your guide for The World God Only Knows, and boy is there a lot. In case you didn’t know, in addition to the OP and ED singles, TWGOK also has a set of character song albums – one for each of the girls, and even one we never asked for! I feel like character song albums are usually pretty hit or miss in terms of quality; some of them are great, while others fade into obscurity (Ookami-san, anyone?). I’m happy to report that this set is a definite HIT, though I have one word of warning for you: if you didn’t like the ED song, Koi no Shirushi, then you may not like the character song albums as much as I did. You’ll see why… right now!

Who’s Sora? She’s the character from the bugged game that Keima was playing in episode 4. Why does she have a character song album? I don’t know, man, I don’t know… this CD is the odd one out for me because 1) it doesn’t have Koi no Shirushi and 2) I don’t like the two songs, anyway. Your mileage may vary.
If you’re not sick of Koi no Shirushi by the time you’re through listening to these, then congratulations! We can be friends because I’m not sick of it, either. I listened to that song enough that I can tell who’s singing in which parts of the “Koi no Shirushi” track on the ED single, which is probably not healthy. Other favorites of mine are Last Dance and Kuchibue Jet. I want to hear what yours are! Koi no Shirushi, right? Right?
There’s still two more albums yet to be released: first is Kanon’s idol CD “Birth” set for 3/3, and the other is the OST set for 3/23. Stay tuned for MORE MUSIC.
