Welcome back to more random zombie comedy! And also a big happy birthday to Overcooled! Hope you get lots of cake and stuff. Found a few soundtracks this week, a good mixture of things and the Arakawa soundtrack, really amazing stuff there.

This week on Korewa Zombie, we have some game time with Haruna, Sera and Hellscythe. They play a bit of Jenga, Majhong and Twister! They even get some time to go bowling. Aikawa even meets a girl who was attacked by the same killer that got him, who reveals something big to him

While at school Aikawa is invited to go bowling with his friend Orito, while the girls at home play random games only to arrive at the same bowling alley afterwards. Odd location, you don’t see used much in anime; I’m surprised they didn’t go to a maid café or water park, which always happens.

Ohhh the crazy fantasies

Yep, he’s from the Touma family alright… FUKOU DA!!!

After learning Aikawa lives with the three girls and has a few fantasies about them, Orito gets a text message from his friend in the hospital to come visit. He drags Aikawa along to meet his friend Kyouko, who has a strange desire to meet Aikawa. She hints at Hellscythe becoming a possible suspect telling him the killer wore armour and was small in stature. Well that would make things more dramatic, huh?! I approve of this.

Hellscythe DAWWW!

End thoughts:

First half was great! I loved the bits with the games, great stuff there. This was a chance for them to add some fanservice thanks to the Twister game, giving us the camera angles. It also added the right amount of comedy, which was the major selling point for me anyway. Sera wasn’t so bad this week compared to last episode as far as how she treats Aikawa, that was a good change! I still don’t like her as much as other characters though.

The bowling alley was a nice touch; great seeing Orito’s reaction finally meeting Haruna, Sera and Hellscythe. At first I didn’t like Orito but as a side character he added a bit of fun to this episode. Kyouko was another fun character since she was thrown at us near the end, and it was strange how she basically throws herself on Aikawa. Motive? Keep on watching.

I did like her story and the hints she gives Aikawa, I think it would be very interesting if Hellscythe was the one that almost killed her. Or it’s a case of mistaken identity like she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Either way great progression so far! Now if we can just find out who the other girl is from the opening, maybe a witch or a werewolf? That would be awesome!

Next time! Am I radiant? Not even sure what that means but maybe we will get another new character or we are going to learn more about Aikawa’s killer; I sure hope so.
