Six way calling in Index II
Happy holidays everyone! Hope you all got what you wanted for Christmas; I mostly got clothes and some cash! Can’t go wrong there I guess. I recently watched the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. What a great movie and amazing artwork. Yuki being all cute and I liked the long hair on Haruhi, very nice.
Coming to Index II, this week we have quite the chatter filled episode, and the crazy use of cell phones to move the dialog along. Also, St. Peter’s cross doubles as a laser type weapon, which uses constellation power for evil things! And Oriana gets to fight Touma, Styil and Tsuchimikado.

Uh… Oriana blends in so well…
Oriana sneaks away from Tsuchimikado, as she wanders around Academy City for an open area to set up St. Peter’s Cross. Tsuchimikado and Touma learn this from Orsola and they run off to find Stiyl who escapes the loli-hug from Komoe! Thank god they have cell phones for quick contact. Of course everyone seems to have one; when are we going to see Twitter/IM used in anime? Or a knockoff! Suppose Durarara!! took that idea already with the Dollars website. Metanorn is part two of Dollars anyway and you don’t know about it. Nishishishishi~!
What?! We’re not getting a spin-off series?! DAMN!

Misuzu-“Who’s your friend, Mikoto?” –Mikoto-“Don’t mind her she’s special…”
Tsuchimikado -“Dude, I don’t want to see Avatar again with you bro”
Our brilliant detective Tsuchimikado figures out the location of St. Peter’s Cross after making a few phone calls and finding out it will be placed at the airport. The gang catches a train and sneaks in the airport to find Oriana up to no good. A fight breaks out between Stiyl ,Touma and Oriana after Tsuchimikado gets grabby with Mr. fence and gets shocked! Oriana and Touma fight it out, after she takes out Stiyl with her legs of steel.
Who wants a window seat?! Because, Stiyl smells like smoke…
St. Peter’s Cross doubles as a giant Mp3 player…

End thoughts:
First half of the episode mostly revolved around everyone chatting back and forth with their fancy cell phones, which does get a bit annoying after a while but I get that they want it to be modern. They do come in handy when Tsuchimikado needs to get some information quickly, seems he knows the right people to contact. Shows he does think more than run in punching people randomly.
Second half was more action and story progression with some comedy thrown in thanks to Kuroko seeing Mikoto’s mom and going all anime face. Which I saw coming sooner than later! But still, it was quite funny, especially with her mom calling her a lesbian on the spot! Good comedy this time around. Last week was depressing with Komoe crying and Himegami getting blown up.
Probably one of the more boring episodes with all the chatter but near the end things got really fun. Of course Tsuchimikado gets one shot by the fence and Stiyl gets kicked in the face leaving Touma the last man standing! Someone get Stiyl some body armor.

Next episode has more of the same without any end boss, Touma gets his butt kicked to near death, forehead-bleeds like Ichigo and whoops Oriana with a punch. I so wanted Mikoto’s mom to step in and tell Oriana to stand down so she can fight, that would be like WHAT THE!? That would be interesting! Well, maybe. Thanks for reading!

True that Misuzu saw Touma with him, I would love to see Mikoto get in on some of the main plot. Kind of want Touna to explain who Index is and why he is protecting her.

not gonna lie, i’m so happy that an enemy doesnt totally rely on magic to fight touma…because it doesnt work…and i’m fairly sure they’ve figured it out by now

Yeah it is nice to see a mixture of Magic and physical fighting Oriana does have that going for her, but I am curious to see how the Stab Sword is used against Touma.
