Settled finally? Some thank yous are in order!
I like this girl a lot but I just hope you don’t have to see her EVER AGAIN!
The previous week has been one helluva trip for Metanorn because yeah we did migrate to a new domain but there were a lot of chinks to be settled. Not to mention the fact that I had to travel due to an unforeseen emergency. However, in my absence and very less net time, I have to laud my team, who stuck by the site and kept the spirits up via our official twitter and Chatbox (which will return soon), a big hand to Overcooled, Hato-kun, Hoshi and Masu! I also specifically need to thank our Knight plus Tech Guru, Will, who worked day and night to not only transfer our huge database and content to the new place but relevant reconfiguration required. Let me just say it’s no walk in the park and involved loads of hair-pulling and swearing (I swear I just had a new haircut to even out my length XD).
In making all of this possible, I got in touch with Divine, Kabitzin and Jubbz to research on hosting providers so thanks goes out to them as well, who responded with suggestions. More so to Kabitzin who answered all my minute queries in every detail possible, as I ended up using his suggestion after all.
Special mention of the DDD Cast, whose webmaster I’ve literally kidnapped (Sorry guys! xD). The guys have been ever welcoming since our buddiness originated from Sekijitsu and even resulted in us appearing as the first female guests on their fourteenth podcast.
Last but not the least, BIGGEST THANK YOU goes out to all our regular readers like Xiao-chan, Joojoobees, LuluChan, Ichigopocky, anaaga, Namika, Tofu-kun, Dan/Dan-go, Berrish, Kushi, baka_girl, Tainy, Lizzy, Hellomotto, Junko, bakuhasu, foshizzel, Amutofan, Mimiko, oplover, Jo, Captain and many more who stuck by the site even when no updates were happening. Those continuous refreshes meant a lot. For an update, Will and I are already working on a new design to stabilize the overload we face sometimes due to our current theme. It’s not about bandwidth but amount of processing our site requires. We’ll try our best that with new season, you would see a new look of Metanorn.
I’ll end with the note that our only purpose to be online and having an identity is to present everything entertaining about the fandom (Anime, manga, music, fangirling, bishies, moe and everything in between!). So have fun and enjoy your stay!
