Oh I know, I know~ I’ve been a bit inactive lately. I can tell you the reason is me being hella busy. Work and loads of backend stuff is keeping me occupied till wee hours of the night. This is just a makeup post to fangirl on some topics and release site news.
First item of business: KIMI NI TODOKE’S SECOND SEASON, HELL YEAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Production I. G, you sure took your sweet time in announcing but I’m not going to diss you too much because its just a few months away and I’m willing to wait for good things. Just like I’m waiting for the second episode of Kuragehime. I mean, after that brilliant episode, a week’s break… Noooo… orz’ Brain base, I AM WATCHING YOU! You still haven’t announced the second season of Durarara!! yet….
Oh well, Winter’s not going to be as exciting as Fall but it definitely has few good titles to look forward to. Till it arrives, I have many other things to occupy my mind, not to mention some sheer awesomeness to look forward to in Supernatural, the Animation and Kara no Kyoukai’s Epilogue. Coming to some site updates, starting September, a lot has happened. We faced two big downtimes and server errors lasting more than 24hours. With the expansion of team, it’s definitely a reality that we need more site space and better visitor experience. After a lot of deliberation, I’ve finally decided to take up the gauntlet to lead the site and migrate it to metanorn.net. As I’ve already tweeted on our official twitter account, things are moving up and we’ll have our very own domain soon. This is where a Tech guru joins our ranks and those of you who follow the DDD Cast, you already know Will as their webmaster (you better call him Kami-sama~). He’s very good with programming the backend and has helped me immensely in the migration of site. He and I would be busy cooking some more updates but that’s for later. Also note, if you can’t see the cute girl with Under Construction sign on our new domain, it means Will is fiddling with the database; no worries! XD
I’m not sure when Kanzie would be back; the last I talked with her, she was deep in her studies and RL, while Tsui has officially quit. Even with the move kanzie and tsui would always be the founding members of Metanorn; I’m just the one taking up the torch. Not to mention, the awesome 7 of Kokidokom who took us with open arms in the mid of 2008 and has been a launch pad for many budding anibloggers. Even after the shift our love for KK would not diminish.
It seems like yesterday that I took up reviewing Durarara!!, Kimi ni Todoke and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for Metanorn. I’ve come a long way since then and now have a sizeable team that I see growing even more with time (thanks to all those who have applied for openings till now). I never would have guessed that I would end up administering Metanorn but taking up challenges has been my thing and hopefully with all your support, yes you, our dear constant reader in commentor/lurker-mode, I’ll persevere. ^^
Hopefully the migration would be flawless because I plan on using link redirection so that even if you type our current URL, you are taken to our new domain. Will keep you all updated. As always, have fun and enjoy your stay at Metanorn. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu~
Update: My current plan is to migrate the site as it is and then after spending some good time on a new design, go for a redesign. If I do it right now, it would be hurried and I don’t want to fudge it. Keep watching this space for more updates. Also, I’ve updated the sidebar polls. Do let us know what you think and comment away to your heart’s content.

Wow… that sounds all great and yayz but can you really move Metanorn? The reason why I’m saying this is ’cause Metanorn is originally kanzeon’s idea/blog/property etc. She may have been inactive for a long time but she’ll always be Metanorn’s “official” owner. Which should mean that she has some kind of copyright over the Metanorn name and blog ❓

Eri-kun, Yes, of course I have. My taking over does not mean removing Kanzie in any way. As I said in the post, she and Tsui are the founders of this website and Kanzie specifically would always be our goddess. Whenever she returns (I have talked to her on lengths about this), Metanorn would be there with her having the admin rights and all.
I am just moving servers and spending money on domain for better visitor experience as we have gone over capacity and in process improving what can be improved.
