MARIA†HOLIC centers about a lesbian girl named Kanako Miyamae who transferred to a prestigious all-girls’ school just to find her perfect yuri-partner which she longed for. The reason why she hates boys is because of her traumatic childhood incident regarding her gym uniform went missing… Anyway, that’s the reason why she says boys are dirty and scary…
Entering the academy, she met Mariya Shidou, along with her(?) maid Matsurika. Kanako finds Mariya as the one she had finally looking for and Mariya even kissed her on the cheek, which convinced Kanako more that she’s really the yuri-girl of her dreams. Mariya invited Kanako later to tour her on the school and Kanako was very happy until…
LOL.
Mariya is a TRAP baby!!!!!
Not to mention shehe was also sadistic, narcisstic, prideful, devious and arrogant. Which makes the story more interesting! Now, Mariya blackmails Kanako that when she spreads herhis secret, she will be DEAD (since Mariya is also the daughterson of the school chairman, Kanako is on HeLL right now) and that’s why Mariya puts Kanako under herhis surveillance 24/7 and yeah… that also means there’s issues on taking her clothes off…
I’m also sensing a yuri harem for Kanako! From dorm leaders, homeroom teachers to lolis, meganes and traditionellas, to keep Kanako nosebleeding for more.
I’ve only read 3 chapters so far but every chapter was toooo short! They should lengthen this one because it really has a fantastic storyline, which is quite unique and I had never seen any sadistic traps before since Charming Junkie… Another thing to look forward to here is how will romance develop. Since it has been labeled romance-comedy-traptology (or is that even a word?), I still don’t know how Kanako will fall to Mariya or vice-versa which is GREAT, since you’ll keep waiting for a new chapter to come out anytime. This is really worth some good laughs brought to you by a yuri-fangirl, a trap, and his maid. The series will also get an anime adaptation on January 2009. Check out their website for more info.
