The story is about a game going around Japan called ‘Rabbit Doubt’. The premise of the game is that all of the players are rabbits in a colony, and one amongst them is randomly chosen to be a wolf that infiltrated the group of rabbits.
Every round, the wolf kills off a rabbit, and every round, the group tries to figure out which of the rabbits is actually a wolf in disguise. Sometimes the kids who play this game decide to meet up in person, and Yuu, Mitsuki, Rei, Hajime, Eiji, and Haruka have done just that. Unfortunately, one of them has decided to take on the mantle of the wolf and has already killed once. Who is the wolf, and can they be stopped before everyone meets a very unpleasant end?
This had became my fave psychological-mystery-horror manga. The art style is fine and it’s the type of my liking: its modern. What really draws me in is the infatuating feeling everytime I read the manga. I honestly find it hard to breathe normally as I read through pages full of insanity and dementness. Doubt never disappoints you with its content of gore that reminds me of the flick Saw. Most of all, the best thing here is the twisted mystery, where you’ll keep guessing who is the wolf until the end. I even doubt what every character is saying (I’ve became paranoid as well). It is a ride of paranoia and…doubt(as what the title says…), as friends break their bonds as they accuse each other, but and gets killed by the enemy one by one. I’m looking forward to reading more of this and good thing there’s no such thing on real life…
…Or is it? Waaaaaah!
