But before I continue, I wanted to give a reason why I posted an all-day-long-running-live-countdown today on my blog. It is because I received a great achievement on my blog last Monday. I don’t really care about site traffic but wth, I got an achievement of 852 views!!! Yipee!!! *faints*… *goes back to poise again* That was really something to me. I’m glad that many people cares ^_^!!! God Bless ~>.<~ And now, to show my appreciation, I’m giving y’all a live countdown by moi!!!
☆Absolute Anime Openings ~part 2~☆
This is the second part of counting down my favorite Anime Opening themes! I’m having a hard time sequencing them all because I love every song I listed up here. This batch has an OP of a current anime, a techno dance track, hardcore emo rock, a yuri anime OP song and even GermanRussian-Engrish in it so it would be very exciting! Now lets proceed.
☆Absolute Anime Openings ~part 1~☆
Ok, so everyone has their own favorite anime openings of all time, we may all differ but I kinda have a unique taste of openings. I base it from the song itself, the video and how memorable the opening would be for me. I also base it on how it gives me ‘the chillz’ everytime I watch and listen to it. So here goes the first part of my top 20 best anime openings.

I’m sorry for not giving you all episodic posts (have you noticed that I’ve been only posting about music?) because I just had my exams and I’m busy watching the Olympics LOL. I almost dragged someone to this blog (yes, a new blogger) to post on some episodes like Xam’d… because I haven’t really covering it lately but he’s busy too so I’m terribly sorry. My retreat will be tomorrow and I need to sleep now so I’ll be leaving y’all with this post and I’ll be back after 2-3 days…
LION – May’n and Megumi Nakajima [Sheryl and Ranka]
I will be out for a while since I will be attending our retreat… It’ll be actually really fun, imagine the mountains… (actually, I have no idea if there’s anything near our retreat house); the fresh air (actually, we will be confined inside so I wonder how we would breathe…); and lastly, enjoying the free time that’ll be given to us(they will make us cry, pray then FORCE us to sleep on 10:30 pm only…)…
I am a huge fan for the Macross Frontier soundtracks because they really do pick the good songs on the series. The current OP theme is entitled Lion, sung by the two beautiful maidens of Macross Frontier: Sheryl (May’n) and Ranka (Megumi Nakajima). I love them both but personally, I’m surprised on Megumi Nakajima’s performance as Ranka here because I didn’t knew that she could pull off a powerful song along with May’n. This is truly one of the best OP songs I’ve seen and heard for a while. For a trivia, Megumi Nakajima is half-Japanese and half-Filipina.
THYME – 「Fly Away」

J-pop band THYME gave us 2 great OP songs in a row. They are the hitmakers of To-Love-Ru‘s “Forever We Can Make It!”. “「Fly Away」” is their current song which is the OP song for Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto ~Natsu no Sora~. I really love the song and it’s now currently looping up my iPod. It gives the laid-back feel a rockin’ twist. I put up the download link above for sharing. Btw, here’s the PV of the song:
Rihanna – Disturbia
Ok, this is an another non-anime related post but I can’t help it! This song is totally stuck on my iPod and it’s been everywhere here! I also danced this song lols on our P.E. class… This is the newest single of Rihanna entitled Disturbia…
The video is quite interesting since it’s gothic, scary and freaky but still maintains sensuality and attitude. I LOVE IT!!!

The ED theme for Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is suns by N’s or none other than the über-kawaii seiyuus on the show: namely Mai Goto, Kaori Shimizu, Kana Ueda, Rina Sato and Nogizaka Haruka herself, Mamiko Noto.
