Even while embarrassed Pikari’s muppet face works!
I’m going to try my best to review this series every other week unless something huge happens later, but for now Amanchu is lighthearted fun as Pikari and Futaba get to know each other and explore the world of scuba diving!

Yeah, some of the training stuff got to me. I’m a bit claustrophobic to begin with, and that extends to SCUBA, something I’ve tried it, and it was embarrassing. But nothing ventured nothing gained, so I was quite happy to see Futaba get into the swing of things.
But like you said, the one facet I’m looking forward to the story exploring is, is that dependence that Futaba has on Pikari. Our muppet girl is wacky, and yes, as you say, there is much more to her, as she’s an in charge kinda person.
I’m not quite as sold on the twins as you are it seems, but I hope they develop them well in later episodes.

It was so nice that they took the time to show Teko’s fear, her trying, and her encouragement from Pikari. And it was great how nobody was pushing her. The teacher let her take her own time. And partly that’s because diving is serious business: It is very easy to die doing it. If Teko can’t get comfortable and do it on her own, she shouldn’t be doing it at all. So give her time and see if she can, and if she wants to. Very nicely done.

Well, i guess i will stick on this show for a while…
On the 4th Episode on the other hand seem to be a lesson to know for this show’s staff, especially the director, they need to overcome social anxiety in a real way, and that way she grows as a fine individual, it saddens me why the other show lacks of this one!
Also…Hmm, That Shore Cat (Cha or whoever…) i wonder why she talks like this girl
