Yeah I’m no fan of the Muv-Luv franchise I tried to get into it, but nope it’s not for me! I don’t think ill even try this new one out lol.

That’s strange. I thought you’d have jumped at it the first chance you get. I know your ears catch fire at the mention of mecha. 😉

Anyway, fripSide is singing the OP. They did good with Black Bullet but after fouling up Seraph of the End’s second OP, I’ve grown skeptical of any future music they make not fitting the mood and setting of the anime they’re supposed to represent.

I guess even terrorists aren’t so bad as to risk catching baby penguins in the crossfire. That was a funny bit.

Comet Lucifer – 08 & 09: Do Mon ruled the ninth episode with his final appearance. A lot of feels from his dialog at Sogo’s mother’s grave and for an impromptu father figure who only knew life on the battlefield, he did the best he possibly could and deserves a great deal of credit.

Between Do Mon and Gus, the latter is the pitiful one for staying too long in the past. Not to mention how grating his stupid accusation was blaming Sogo for Do Mon getting “weak” and “dull”. At least the former had something worthwhile to attend to.

Heavy Object 08 & 09: After that landslide vote last time, no way were you guys allowed to drop this. I could imagine the ropes, torches and pitchforks rising if you did. 🙂

Note to self: Watching S&M videos increases motivation when engaging in base manual military labor. Qwen and Havia have just taught us something new.

A looser form of the usual formula the show has thrown at us so far and for some reason, it managed to bring out much more humor alongside the action. I laughed at not only our two leads but the terrorists ceasing fire not to hurt the baby penguins then cheering for their safe passage. Well, at least they won’t be charged for animal cruelty.

One thing that’s hilariously nonsensical. Qwenthur isn’t allowed a military firearm to attack/defend but he’s free to have explosives, which by comparison is far more dangerous. Nice logic.

That aside, Havia dropped the “F” bomb. Wonder if the english dub will allow the same occurrence.

The new girl, Lady Vanderbilt, is an odd one. Can hardly make a sentence without using the word “fricken'”. I already get the wealthy part, but you’re telling me she’s from a strict, proper, high society family?

    It’s been a little bit hasn’t it?

Heavy Object: It was better these last few episodes and I’m hoping they keep it up now that we’re in a different volume of the light novels.

Comet Lucifer: WHYYYYYY?! Why did you have to take away the best character in the show?

Gundam: While these were my least favorite episodes, that’s not say much since they were still very good and showed a lot of character development for our orphans.
