To Love-Ru Darkness faps alone~

winter15-foshYep To Love-Ru Darkness is the final series for summer 2015 MetaFAP even though I know episodes 13 and 14 will come out at the end of the month so the story isn’t done just yet, but I already have an idea how things will end! I guess maybe they will do a few uncensored OVA stuff later? Speaking of uncensored I saw the first batch of special blurays are out which is always a good thing for To Love-Ru Darkness fans.

About

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

Well, I do love the goofy-pervy face and voice of Yami right now, but later comes the murder-face. Unless Rito gives her a hug or something. Or, is it Nemesis that needs the hug? Her backstory, thou incredible, is basically loneliness. Heck, Queue the Hug Machine…

    • BlackBriar says:

And if the hug doesn’t work? I doubt something so simple will do the trick this time around. It’s the kind of situation where you’d definitely need a backup plan.

For the manga readers the darkness arc took 4+ months to get through because it updates monthly sooo it took forever to find out how they win and to avoid spoiling which is odd to say about To Love-Ru! They beat her in a interesting way xD

To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd – 12: Well, this shattered my image of Yami into little bits. I’ve actually come to prefer her Darkness side, enough to overlook her murderous tendencies. Such a contrast between the two mindset you’re hard pressed to say it’s the same person and elaborating her intentions to Rito was the definite sign of a yandere.

I’m already aware the two other episodes will take time before they air but I really want to finish this series properly. What’s with this rising trend of pushing remaining episodes from an unfinished season/cour to a later date?

First it was the final episode of Kekkai Sensen (A Spring anime) being pushed to tomorrow, then episodes 10-13 of God Eater pushed to Winter 2016 and now the last two of To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd.

It’s probably production/schedule issues on the part of the studios that demand the push. But, for the most part, they do it, the public groans, but still watches them anyway, and buys the stuff. The public completes the trend.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah I mean I still love normal non pervy Yami too whenever she is near Mikan who always brings out a cute side to her, but darkness Yami is amazing!! I know she won’t be here long so we might as well enjoy it and yeah she is somewhat of a yandere type much like Anna from that dirty words show just less clingy LOL

Yeah I don’t get it either for most shows I just assume they ran into issues with money? Actors? Studio pressure? I mean just watch Shirobako they give you an idea just how hectic working on anime can be, but who really knows what is going on! Maybe their economy for animators, studios and voice actors isn’t what it used to be years ago? Just look at Manglobe recently for an example.

I doubt that these were the main issues here, because unlike Kekkai Sensen which filled one of its timeslots with a recap episode and not used its last timeslot and “God Eater” who skipped on their August 2, August 23 and September 13 timeslots, “To Love-ru Darkness” only skipped one timeslot (August 17) and thus wouldn’t have been able from the beginning to broadcast all episodes.

Anime production commitees are usually only able to acquire 12-13 weekly timeslots (or multiples thereof). As an outlier, Disapperance of Nagato-chan only managed to get 16, because its slot was taken up by Prisma Illya 3, another Kadokawa show, which had only 10 episodes, thus totalling to proper 26 episodes.

Therefore broadcasting 14 episodes would have required another show to sacrifice one or two episodes.

        • Foshizzel says:

True on all of that since I don’t know the broadcast companies in Japan work because I know they have to work with time slots like id guess most ecchi airs late late at night, but can they air censored ecchi during the day?

Also Shaft does the whole airing 12 episodes and then release 4 extra episodes in Blray form.

Riggght that makes since if they paid for 12 episodes airing 14 cuts into other airing series.

The first BD came out! Now I can watch without Fog-san, it’s the principle of the matter.
