Festivals, boobs, video games and romance this week!
Hello and welcome back to your weekly dose of MetaFAP on Metanorn! This week we finally meet the Slime girl Shu in Monster Girls and Nemisis from ToLove-Ru Darkness! This is a great week for new characters.

Finally Nemisis appears and is voiced by Rina Hidaka aka Last Order from Index, Scarlet Rain from Accel World, Enju from Black Bullet, Akari from Captain Earth and Silica from SAO so yeah it looks like she has experience playing LOLi character types, but I don’t think this is the first time we’ve seen her? I could have sworn she appeared in the first season, then again maybe I am thinking about the manga? Anyway this episode follows Momo for most of the episode because she is fighting her inner thoughts on being with Rito and at the same time thinking if the harem route is really the right answer to make everyone happy? Yeah this theme with Momo is nothing new for fans of the character since she really does have honest feelings for him, but she sort of knows he only has eyes for Haruna and Lala. I guess that is the burden she has to deal with since she wanted to started this crazy harem plan! Aside from Momo’s issues we finally get to see Nemisis reveal herself and interact with Rito, Momo and Yami and boy does she have some fun with Rito! I know there are more events with the two of them later so look forward to that. Also Nemisis revealing that Yami truly has a dark side, but I wonder if we will get that far since we only have ten episodes left? Currently they seem to be using two to three manga chapters per episode so maybe? I won’t spoil what happens with Yami later on, but it will be amazing.

In case you thought we were gonna get to some dating and marriages soon, you got another think coming. First we have to introduce more girls, because having three isn’t enough for Darling-kun (more like he might stay alive with just three). This time it’s the arrival of a slime, who typically ends up with the name “Suu”. Honestly, I don’t know that Suu adds much of anything to the show, she seems to be much more of a “girl of convenience”. Maybe it’s someone to play with Papi more, since Miia and Cerea seem to be more equals, and Papi was kind of the odd one out, as evidenced by this episode’s constant asking if someone will play with her, but I don’t know if we’re going to get too much more than that out of Suu. The show didn’t even get to the resolution with Agent Smith about Suu’s residency, but I can’t imagine anything other than she’s going to continue to live in the mayhem that is Darling-kun’s house. Besides, next week we get yet another girl. I think there might be more girls in this show than in Cinderella Girls…

It’s Fighter’s turn to shine this week on Bikini Warriors, as she’s the only one who’s not cynical enough to just dismiss the quest-giver as a guy making them do pointless things. But she wants the key to the Geldebar, so she’s going to do his quest chain, which consists of the usual fetching and collecting and myriad stupid things that a lot of RPG questing is, even testing the weird concoction to see what its effects are. It also gives us a little insight into Paladin’s nature, as she doesn’t mind Fighter getting a little grabby, and gets annoyed that she takes all the tentacles to herself (the only time that’s ever been described as “the good part”). In the end, the “key” is the usual “You’ve found it in yourselves, as you’ve learned the importance of helping others.” There are two “at leasts” here compared to having to do these quests in a game like World of Warcraft: First, at least she didn’t have to search through poop. And Second, at least she got to take her frustration out on the quest-giver after getting nothing out of it.

Someone’s a little distracted

Love’s Troubles can strike anywhere, even with someone who’s trying as hard as Ui is. But an explanatory email raises the issue even if Hayato and Ui don’t really want to talk about it. Secretary Fujisaki is taking the role of the hanging judge, declaring all boys guilty of being lustful beasts (and there’s enough history with Ui and Hayato turning into a lustful devil for this to be believable). But eventually the letter writer explains that she just wanted him to pay attention to her and kiss her, something that Ui wants as well. Hayato tries to get away with a kiss on the forehead, but that’s not going to cut it for Ui, either. I once again get a little annoyed at Hayato’s losing a bit of control, and wish that there was a little more active consent on Ui’s part, rather than just going with the flow after Hayato gets pushy, but I hope she’s sticking around because she feels like she’s as equal as she wants to be. Now we’ve just got imouto-chan to deal with.

Well, she adds to the ecchi shenanigans that is for sure. That’s what the show is about, not even the “endgame”.
Seitokaichou!: Man, I wish you would have used the image of the chickies coming out of her head, I love that stuff. But yeah, Ui had to be much more forward with an MC this dense. I wonder what Imouto-chan will bring?
TLRD2:Rina Hidaka FTW! I always thought Nemesis’ introduction was a bit weak tea. But then, she just has to fit into the harem plan somehow, right? So her intro is business as usual for all the girls.
I beginning to think that Momo may adapt her harem plan in future. She knows she can’t unseat Lala and That Other Girl (who I never thought much of…), so she might want to get Third Girl locked up. Rito would balk at 15, but with that large a number, three sounds much more reasonable, right?
This calls for my now new and official LOLi-Defender Rule #5 “Do not mess up a perfectly good LOLi like that!”

The “other girl” is Haruna, who I’d imagine plays a much bigger role in the first two series. But in Darkness, she’s hardly mentioned (Lala barely rises above this, as well). It’s almost like “Given that Haruna and Lala both love Rito, let’s see who else we can get in here.”
And Haruna still has about the worst hairstyle ever.
