I kind of feel like this show has lost something. I felt it was at its best when it was exploring the individual girls like Nanako and Hikaru. It feels like they’re leaving a little too much to prevailing mood when it gets to the relationship between Subaru and Aoi, and I’ll admit that I get a little bit “why did they do that?” when it comes to Minato and Subaru. I liked the focus on Minato, but thought it was a little bit too “This is what I’m REALLY like”. We’ll see if the show has a bit more of a concrete ending, or even an understandable ending (like what’s the whole freakin point?).

As of right now, I consider the show an exploration. It kinda has a destination in mind, and I think it will get there, but it feels like it has to get there first. Once it does you can look down the path and see where you’ve been. Or it’s a quantum mechanics trip…

Yeah as much as I would love more involvement from the other cast of characters in the end this whole magical girl space adventure seems to be all about Subaru and Minato’s story and how they are destined to meet each other.
I suppose if they cut the other girls out of the series and make it just about Subaru going through space solo every week it might be extremely boring especially how she whines and complains most of the time lol…
