Well hello there readers! Sorry for not doing a post last week because I decided to take a bit of a break from doing some reviews on this series and Captain Earth, but I will make sure to do them this week! So anyway it is time to talk about these two hilarious episodes of Sabagebu.

Moe Hunters

Miou-“Oh my god were surrounded!”           Momoka-“Don’t worry I will KILL THEM ALL!”

Episode seven started off kind of strange with the girls going on a nature hike only to get lost in the woods, but after hearing some screams of terror they ended up finding a ton of wild animals raiding a small village for their food?! Wow I swear that whole first segment of that episode was so freaking random and at the same time it was also super hilarious, especially when those animals started to act all cute in front of the girls preventing them from attacking!? While that happened I laughed at the old man that was introduced as the pro hunter who shared a story about his granddaughter which inspired the girls to study and attempt to get their hunting licenses, but of course since all of them are underage that plan was quickly shot down! I guess they can’t really get away with using their airsoft guns on wild animals.

Momoka-love-ru-darkness

Why is cross dressing so big as of late? I swear this season has a lot of that going from Himegoto, SAO2, Shin Strange+, Love Stage, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun and now the girls of Sabagebu take their turn for some reverse cross dressing and damn all of them could easily pass off as dudes thanks to Kayo’s impressive makeup skills! So was anyone else not surprised that Momoka er I mean MANOKA who was quick to exploit her new found looks or where you shocked that she would actually go that far for a bit of popularity? I thought it was really funny and my mind instantly thought of Yuu Kashima from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun who is a girl, but a lot of other girls are drawn to her because of her manly features. Did anyone else laugh like crazy when those random girls chased her only to find clothes and quickly called him a fairy? Wow that was great and I can’t forget to mention Urara taking those pictures of Momoka after she lost her clothes! I swear she could be the second coming of Kuroko from Railgun and I think I love watching her act absolutely crazy.

Pew Pew Photo Shoots

Momoka just died.

Momoka really will do ANYTHING for money well ok maybe not everything, but I guess standing around having your picture taken is not all that bad now is it? I mean unless you are a cosplayer who attends something like Comiket (NSFW LINK YO) even though that is the point of that convention anyway right? That said I know Momoka wasn’t really cosplaying. The only thing I really have to say about the first half of the episode was WOW what the hell is with those creepy elite photographers!? I mean I know there are people like that in the real world; however since this is the world of Sabegabu it totally allows Momoka to fight back and kick some ass in the process even though in the end those creepy dudes and the other photographers still managed to get a full frontal shot of her pantsu…poor Momoka.

End thoughts

Wow those were some fantastic episodes! I didn’t really talk about a whole lot this week like the fact that Momoka’s mom was labeled as a “suspicious person” in episode seven because her daughter left her lunch at home and the fact that she is still the best mom of the season for me and then I have to talk about Maya being the best girl so far after she practically stole the show in episode eight and the introduction of another Survival Game Club who spent most of their time hunting Maya! I guess both episodes had their own set of “hunts” if I really think about it. So what were some of your favorite moments in these two episodes?
