OH MY GOD ITS MIKI?! I HAD NO IDEA!!
What a sneaky character.
After battling it out last week I guess the members of Zvezda and White Light deserve a chance to kick back and relax, but who knew they would end up staying at the same hot spring?! Then again this series has shown us that these two groups have always been close especially at the school. While the core of the episode seemed to be more of a comical theme in nature like Kate swimming from the girls side of the spring to the guys side just like in Nisekoi this week! I did laugh at Natasha hanging out with the monkeys and then we had Yasubee being blown up by Roboko’s super laser?! Damn that guy gets no breaks; however it was great to finally see Renge, Miki and Asuta’s have their secret identities exposed because honesty that has been one overall theme that keep appearing in every episode so far and what about the other characters? Sadly there was not a lot going on with them besides Yasubee riding with Kaorin near the end which I think explains how White Light knew that Zvezda would be staying at the same hot spring or Yasubee even a spy to begin with? I mean for all we know he could just be going out with her, but I am leaning more towards him being more of a spy type character and what the hell happened to the city at the end of the episode? I bet the Zvezda main headquarters was blown up while they were away on vacation.

I look forward to seeing what Renge and Asuta do from here, they obviously want to be friends but feel that they really can’t.

Well, that was severely messed up. So we have a hot spring rest stop. White Light on one end and Zvezda on the other. Calling a setup like that a powder keg on a short fuse would be a huge understatement. It’s almost like sleeping with the enemy. Not to mention the old couple had to endure the bitter revelation that they’re enemy agents to one another.
As if things weren’t rigid enough, we have betrayals and line blurring. What does it take to turn a guy’s (Yasu) head around? One beautiful woman is all it takes. Surely Renge has no idea how to move forward since everything’s thrown into disarray. Her idol turns out to be her subordinate and her flirt is her close friend. She took the reveals very well if you ask me. I wonder how long Miki knew about Asuta and if she knew he and Renge were getting closer to each other.
One of the best parts was Natasha sleeping through the episode making friends with primates. Just what is this trend with monkeys hanging out in hot springs? A similar thing happened with Artemis from Moon Phase and other animes.
As for what happened to the town, I’m placing my bet on Asuta’s father having a hand in it. He sees Zvezda as an enemy and may have developed a grudge against White Light for turning down his “proposal” to let him and his faction takeover the task of hunting down Zvezda members. Plus Asuta has already expressed personal resentment towards him.
