Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda – 04

Kate has conquered the world of MMORPGS!

This has been an amazing week for me! The finale of Doki Doki Precure and the start of a brand new season has me feeling quite excited, but I know most of you are here for the loli invasion! So what are we in for this time since the previous episode was an anti-smoking ad? I guess we will find out.

The soundtrack during this moment was amazing!

Loli Natasha vs Loli Kate WHO WINS~

While the previous episodes followed a comical theme as of late things changed this week because it seems we are taking a slight break from the laughs in favor of focusing on some of the characters found in Zvezda like the oddball scientist Natasha who took center stage as we learned about her past that deals with her parents and how she was raised. So did she have a super heartbreaking story? I guess I wouldn’t really call it super sad or anything because at a young age it is revealed that Natasha was more interested in robots and science instead of going outside to play with other kids her age. I did enjoy how her mother tried to open her daughters mind to another world filled with supernatural stuff which included a story about fairies and magic, sadly in the end we don’t really know what truly happened to her parents in that cave! I mean did they die or did they just abandoned her? Part of me almost wonders if her parents did it to protect her from some evil organization that needs her expert robot building skills? At least Natasha is still going look for her parents and I really hope that is addressed later on for a nice touching reunion.

Now I know that was not the only thing going on this week because Zvezda is all about Kate taking on the world; however after a random power outage our “heroes” have to go on some an epic quest to find the main udo root located underground because apparently their secret base is powered by this strange plant? Wait a second when did this turn into Log Horizon? Yes all of that was silly for a plot but that is the fun of Zvezda! So what was your favorite moment this week? Mine was watching Roboko arriving to defeat that strange smoke looking cloud and of course Kate being a boss like always even if she needs a nap in the middle of a quest…

Extra Conquest

Totally not creepy at all right?

zvezdaaa (6)

I couldn’t resist not to give Kate Kamina glasses…

zvezdaaa (8)

This is the best girl of Zvezda! Sorry Kate…

zvezdaaa (9)

Roboko is just a bad ass.

Renge is excited.

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

It was great learning about Natasha’s background! I was always curious about her.

Yeah it is interesting to see how Kate found all these people and I wonder who is next? Probably the samurai chick id guess?

Yep! I am quite excited to see the white light team actually do something.

Translation of an interview with Zveszda’s series writer Hoshizora Meteor(of the Type-Moon visual novel co.), detailing future developments for the series:

    • Foshizzel says:

Ooooh so episode five sounds like it will be fanservice focused? I guess that is alright as long as they avoid using Kate in those kinds of scenes even though her transformation outfit is very revealing anyway! Course the hardcore lolicon fans would probably enjoy that >.>

  3. zztop says:

The Zveszda blobs are the cutest part of the show. 😀

Also a translation of the Zveszda member names and terms from Russian to English:
    (Kate)Venera = Venus
    (Jimon) Dva = Two
    (Itsuka)Plamya = Flame
    (Goro) Pepel = Ash
    (Natasha) Um = Mind
    (Yasu) Оdin = One(odin is pronounced ‘a-deen’)

    Galaktika = Galaxy
    Zvezda = Star

    • Foshizzel says:

Oooh nice find zztop! I know some fans probably want me to use the Russian names instead of the Japanese names LOL

  4. JPNIgor says:

Is Loli Kate any different from actualy Kate since both are still Lolis? And is Kate some kind of eternal Loli since she found Natasha something like eight years ago and she’s basically the same through it all.

  5. skylion says:

I cannot put my finger on this one. It borrows a very hefty page from faerie tales, that’s obvious, but puts it’s own narrative in.

I’m just going to call it Um in Udoland and call it a day.

  6. BlackBriar says:

It was a good idea going the way they did with this episode. Now Natasha has gotten more interesting.

Because Zveda 5 is currently airing now in Tokyo and you haven’t posted it up yet…

Am now watching Zveda 5 live in Tokyo. 😀
