I feel pretty much the same way as you guys about most of the shows. The only show that has a lot of split opinions seems to be Aku no Hana. I have to get around to watching the second episode of that when exams are done…

So this is what the elusive Highway sounds like. Your voice defies your age.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S, Shingeki no Kyojin, Suisei no Gargantia and Devil Survivor 2: The Animation are the main must watch shows for this season but what equally piques my interest is Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge that brings a Mirai Nikki, Another and CÂł: Cube x Cursed x Curious esque atmosphere especially with survival game like contest where these participants have to kill the Hair Queen (Iwai) to be granted some wish that would transcend even time and space using these cursed âKilling Goodsâ (A kind of shout out to CÂłâs Cursed Tools) that have been handed down from their ancestors that were apparently murderers and because theyâre cursed and in the hands of their descendants, the goods are indestructible and can become more powerful. Iâm really digging the whole dark feel because it makes everything fiercer. I can easily go for a show that isnât always light, play it safe and innocent.
Karneval, simply put for me, is like a more shoujo version of [K] with the same underlying BL tones because of Nai who is currently the definition of annoying. I get the Arcana Famiglia similarities when you involve Circus and each of the characters can easily be compared side by side.
Hataraku Maou-sama! hits me as Ao no Exorcist working at McDonaldsâ. I really felt some Rin Okumura vibes in Maou when he got to modern day Japan.
Overall, Spring seems to be way more promising than what Winter did for us as was the same thing last year. Spring 2012 was Spring of the Dead with shows like Kore wa Zombie S2, Sankarea and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. So what do we call this Spring?

I think Karneval’s actually getting WORSE than Arcana Famiglia, because where Felicita was annoying in her way of being actually not helpless but acting like she was, Nai is just absolutely useless. Stupid, doesn’t listen, doesn’t pay attention, stupid hair, annoying voice, annoying personality. There is nothing about him that I like.
Spring still has to prove something to me. Winter for me was really good, in part because so many excellent shows carried from Fall, but also because of shows that presented really well and sequels like Haganai and Minami-ke. And I’ll be honest that not a single one of the Spring shows has grabbed me like the premieres of Kotoura-san, Sakurasou, Girls und Panzer, or Love Live! did. Maybe the overall quality will be better, but for me it’s got a ways to go.

Definitely agree with your must watch list; it’s odd there are lots of good shows, and noitaminA isn’t contributing any of them because of the Katanagatari re-run. Although, if you haven’t seen that series, get to watching that when you can.
I feel the same about Spring so far, nice start to the season and I’m watching much more now than in the Winter season. This is a season Mecha is getting a lot of play with Gargantia, Majestic Prince & Valvrave.
