What do you know, Campione managed 2 decent episodes in a row. The plot has me confused, and I’m still not sure for what reasons who’s doing what, but at least things are happening. Well animated violent things, which are usually fun to watch. Not that this episode was packed with action, but the combat that was there was as good as the show has had to offer so far. Erica jumping around with her sword is much more fun to watch than Godou pulling out some animal power. Though the EMETH -> METH technique of killing the golem was really stupid, and I am getting rather tired of the flying & dancing swords bit. It wasn’t ever that cool, let’s come up with something more creative, guys.
Voban may not be the most original of villains, but I liked what I saw of him in this episode, making a game of hunting the protagonists down because of his (over)confidence. What can I say? I’m a sucker for the 24/007/Mission Impossible-ish high stakes games and the racing-the-bad-guy-and-the-clock scenes that those lead to. We didn’t exactly have a thrilling car chase, but I did enjoy seeing the protagonists frantically drive away with the time that the King had granted them, despite knowing that it was in vain (also, wasn’t Arianna supposed to be a poor driver?). I do expect that we’ll see Godou pull out his Campione powers next episode, which I’m not excited about, but at least the series of events leading to this showdown was fun to watch. Plus, though she’s a minor character, Eri Kitamura’s Liliana has been a pleasure to listen to. This show does have its good sides.

Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai — 06

Ryosuke-“OH YEAH! BEHOLD THE POWER OF THESE BOOBS!”
So it’s about time that Dakara decided to do something else with itself rather than go through the same moments and battle sequences crap. It’s not exciting or awesome development, but it does finally bring that guy from the other world into action and keeps the series from getting stale. It is cliched to add parents into the mix and have that be the way Ryosuke ties into all of this, but as if we should be even bothering to grade the show on how well it executes its plot. All ecchi needs to do for me is follow these rules: Be fun, be with minimal-to-zero clothing and no censorship at all! Dakara is regaining that first part after a couple average episodes, and as for the other 2…

NSFW imagery was also great and definitely the best since episode 1; the show had become a bit tired in terms of ecchi content. We’ve seen Lisara’s clothes shred a number of times and it will be a weekly trend, but adding some imaginary sexy scenes that almost reach full frontal levels is very, very nice. The show’s quite adamant about Quele not being exposed especially after having her in a bathing scene. Shame, but Mina more than makes up for that.

Last week we had lots of random fanservice provided by Miu and her friends going out on some shopping adventure for new bras and panties? HOORAAAY FOR THEM! So what kind of crazy stuff can we expect to go down this week? The only thing I can say is this episode was kind of random for me because the creators must have decided to add some manly things this week with the addition of a high powered motorcycle that runs on magic called The supersonic bike, Slepinir?! Apparently Motoharu just wanted to see if Akatsuki could master the famous experimental bike that NO one else could master? Oh wait never mind!
We discovered that Akatsuki’s father (seems like Akatsuki has some daddy issues) was the only other person to master this high tech ride! Oh and this bike can break the sound barrier with a maximum output of 16,770,000 horse power? Yeah that seemed kind of crazy which left me only to clap and say “Whoa good work main character congratulations on the new mount!” What else happened this week? Oh right we had some random fanservice from Haruka who touched the bike and it made all her clothes explode. You know what? It really is quite sad when inanimate objects want to see you naked…

Campione! – I think this is about as good as the plots are going to get, so this episode was a bit of a loss, because it didn’t have enough Erica in her nifty off-the-shoulder outfit. She was a bit helpful this time, tho, actually helping with the fighting and saving Godou’s Authority for the main fight. Godou is a pretty terrible lead, but that’s ok, because Voban is a pretty terrible villain. Hey, he’s a werewolf that can eat the sun horse… yeah…

Boku H – I thought this episode went a long way towards, well, if not redeeming the series then at least to breathing some life into it. A new villain, some interesting enough backstory, a fun little group conversation, and a different style fight against a monster that actually looked different.
I’m kind of surprised that Iria has the guts to show her face with her demon-assisted boobs restored, and even to tease Lisara about it. And nobody even mentioned them being fake. Of course, nobody mentioned Quele trying to kill Lisara after she showed up again. It’s a show of very short memories, or very anti-grudge people.
It’s pretty obvious that Ryousuke only has feelings for Lisara (I initially said ‘eyes’, but it’s also pretty obvious he’s got eyes for anything with boobs), and hopefully her recent coyness and blushing means she’s on the train to Pervsuke-ville, although we’re definitely going to have a long layover in Tsundere Town.

Campione! — 06: Hmm, it was decent at least but I’m hoping the plot gets more exciting. I’m curious to see how the story will go but the fights are good but the golem’s defeat was anticlimactically stupid. There could have been dozens of better ways to do it. I knew the Duke had a thing for wolves but I didn’t think he’d turn into a Lycan.
Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai — 06: More epic ecchi goodness and well executed sexy scenes. As long as Sunbeam-chan isn’t around, it’s all good. With the revelation about Ryousuke’s father, it’s safe to say Ryousuke is half the species that Lisara is. It was interesting finding that out because he doesn’t have any inhuman features like Lisara having wings coming out of her head when she transforms. Good thing they brought up the fact he is supposed to die after a period. After a while, it was like it was going to be completely ignored.
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica — 06: Last week was random fanservice while this week is character development on Akatsuki and Haruka’s part. The more she comes into contact to reprimand him, the more comfortable she becomes because of his mannerisms. She’ll eventually accept him despite his perverted ways. Akatsuki sure does seem to have issues with his father. Maybe it’s a relationship where his father is reluctantly trying to acknowledge him or something else. Sleipinir is one awesome looking bike with its design. It’s right up there with Saber’s bike from Fate/Zero.
“To be continued in a doujinshi somewhere”. With the epic NSFW ecchi stuff here, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were doujinshis for all three of these animes.

In Boku H, I think they’re hitting the right amount of reminders about things like Ryousuke’s impending death. If they brought that up every episode, it would get really annoying, and put too much of a damper on the whole show.
Also, now we know that Human / Reaper babies are possible, so one of those questions that we always get into about *ahem* non-traditional relationships (like with Tasogare Otome) is answered! Another roadblock out of the way for Ryousuke and Lisara! Although now I’m thinking about what kind of fine line he’d have to walk in a relationship with her. “Hey, Lisara, I’m totally in the mood!” *Lisara takes energy and recharges instead* *Slide whistle sound effect* “Never mind.”
