Can it get more lolier than this? – Index Vs Haruna
Ever had a discussion about which anime character would win in a fight?! Well, this post springs from that idea and a few other ideas mashed together. So, these can be anime characters from any series, movies or OVAs. Each character has all of their abilities, skills and powers to make them sort of fair even if they come from any heavy arc type of show. I will also throw in a tiny back story, to explain why these two characters are fighting in the first place.
Today’s match!
Index Versus Haruna!
Random story: Index saw a sign in a local ramen shop giving away free samples of a tasty new flavour. Just as she was about to grab the last bowl of ramen, another hand reaches out to grab the bowl. Index turns to find a strange girl, wearing a pink outfit glaring back at her. They begin to argue over who should get this last bowl of ramen and that is when all hell breaks loose.
So who do you think would actually win?

Dude, this is a decision that definitly pulls you by the hair but I’m gonna have to go with Haruna. She’s a bottomless pit of girl who gives Index a run for money. She’ll eat a boatload of food and still has frightningly enough room for seconds, thirds and maybe even fourths. And we haven’t even gotten to the desert part yet. She’s Index’s rival for life when it comes to food unless there is another girl with the same traits who comes along the way.

That’s a scary thought. She scarfs everything down, works it all off by fighting alongside her friends and in doing so, empties that disposal she calls a stomach so she can go at again. That’s a vicious cycle. Where does Ayumu get the money to keep up with Haruna. There’s no stopping this gluttonous Masou Shoujou and it’s the situation between Touma and that equally gluttonous nun Index. I’d be afraid to be in anyone of those guys shoes.

Index would win; not only would she eat you out of your wallet, but she could also blast you all the way to Mars whenever she’s like that protective state (anyone remember season one? She’s firing her PEW PEW LAZORS!) Haruna…I don’t know, I like her character but it’s too blatant and upfront…which isn’t always a bad thing but at least with Index, it’s controlled and not so…Studio Deen-style. Yeah, that’s another point. JC Staff>Studio Deen. Enough said.

Hahaha yeah I remember those episodes in season one of index, when she goes out of control those were always good. Sadly she can’t use much of her own magic! Which sucks that would make Index a good series.
Haruna is well confident and pushy, not bad character traits for her anyway. True based on studio’s alone JC Staff always has fun character designs.
Well it comes down to your personal favorites either studio,character personality or series itself.

if you think about it, its actually quite a good match up:
haruna temporarily lost her magic cause of ayumu.
index doesnt know she can use magic.
but haruna is athletic and has a chain saw. and I dont think she needs to become a masou shoujo to use the “Mistyltein kick”.

Yep I had some help picking this match up, If you read Haruna’s bio compared to Index they are similar. Both girls have clothing that protects them from damage, and can both use magic.
Right Haruna is more athletic compared to Index unless its food then she can run xD but in the end the chainsaw wins, and of course that “KICK” 😛
