A Channel – 02

Hey…it’s perfectly plausible to forget to put your panties on in the morning.

~Oh, how I wish for more rainy days, but now it’s spring in So-Cal so that means they’ll be less frequent -sigh-. Then again, we have such bi-polar weather I don’t know what to expect anymore…Anyways, look it’s another A Channel episode!

The day starts in typical Run-fashion with her actually forgotten to put on not just her other sock, but her…panties.

Things, of course, return to normal with Tooru’s help, and it seems as if it’s Torture Poor Yuuko day as school where first we find out Yuuko has a weakness for scary stories through Nagi’s “I only wear glasses to not see the spirits around me” trick. Then she gets another fright when Run faints as they’re jogging towards the bathroom. Turns out all she needed was some sleep…

After the school day, the weather takes a turn for the worse and the girls are stuck at school, trying to find ways to make it home without getting soaked. In the end they decide to make a run for Nagi’s house which is actually close by.

Once there however, Yuuko’s misery begins anew as she and Tooru are left alone in Nagi’s room while the other two take a bath. Tooru then gives Yuuko the ultimate decision: Watch a scary movie or sit in awkward silence. What’s the poor girl to do? She gives in to the scary movie and suffers the consequences.

Coming back from the bath where Tooru tortured her there as well, the girls get back to some normal conversations and activities from playing Nagi’s wii to fixing Yuuko’s hair and nails to just admiring the sound of the rain before Run’s sizzling meat ring tone cuts in.~

BONUS Pics!~

Hey, foreheads are pretty sexy!

CAN’T…RESIST…THE CUTENESS…

I…see?

End thoughts: I believe the main question that is going through everyone’s mind when they watch this episode is how in the world do you forget to put your panties on? You just can’t forget that; it’s so silly! I busted up laughing when Yuuko actually tried to check if she had them on at school. I was just thinking, “WHY do you want to SEE?!”. Apparently the yuri elements are starting to show even more now.

I’m extremely excited at the fact I literally laughed out loud in this episode, for a couple of times actually! They managed to bring in more comedy, mainly with torturing poor Yuuko throughout the episode. Tooru is just…beyond mean to her, especially in that bath scene (I’m always scared something’s gonna get me in the shower |’D). Shampoo in the eyes sucks! And then she didn’t even give her the shower head…Oh Tooru.

I have to say though, this episode was only a tad bit better than the last. While there was more comedy, I still couldn’t help but feel like it was just so agonizingly slow with only a few interesting events. I mean I’m honestly at a loss of what else I should say in these end thoughts (I’m probably just not used to blogging about shows like this). Hopefully with the introduction of new characters in this next episode we’ll see things get more interesting and more crazy~.

Preview:

Looks like some more characters are going to be introduced with one girl possibly having a thing for Tooru, and the other having a thing for Run’s….forehead? It’s all in the next A Channel it seems. Until next week then~!!

The second episode being better than the 1st one… I have nothing to say.

Run definitely made this episode as the rest three girls didn’t do anything interesting in particular (except for Yuuko’s headache). Letting forgetting to wear your pants aside, how can you not notice you don’t wear them? Doesn’t it feel… chilly down there?

Smexy foreheads are smexy. BTW I think the guy with the forehead fetish and Nagi’s brother are the same person… just a feeling I had~

    • Hoshi says:

~Hahahaha in my eyes it seemed that way xD

      THAT’S WHAT I WAS WONDERING! It’s like, wouldn’t it feel…too breezy? Oh goodness…

LOL smexy foreheads, I think I might have found a couple. Yeah people keep saying that, but I myself didn’t think of that. I wonder o.o

That pedo guy who kept looking at Run’s forehead… I actually thought he was Nagi’s older brother and that they’d introduce him at the house. Maybe next time *smirks*

Hoshi! Same here! I get paranoid when I close my eyes during my showers, I start imagining things I don’t want to D:

Can I also say that Yuuko reminds me heaps of Mio from K-On 😛 But she’ll never top Mio, NEVER! I would of preferred Hikasa voicing Yuuko to give that Mio feel. :\ She’s only in the shows this season!!! “OTL

Forgetting to put your underwear on is either a lie if you deliberately did that on purpose or if you’re a clutz like Run 😛

    • Foshizzel says:

Yes! Yuuko does remind me of Mio from K-On especially with her reactions to everything! And Tooru’s constant picking 😛

    • Hoshi says:

~Oooo, I never even thought of that hahaha.

      YES!! That’s why I always wash my face extremely fast because I’m afraid something is gonna come up behind me or something @___@;

I KNEW YOU WOULD SAY THAT xD Of course she wouldn’t top Mio on your list…and I actually wouldn’t have minded if she was voiced by Hikasa.

You never know Tofu, you never know xD

Forgets underwear. Check. Forgets umbrella. Check. Forgets to change ringtone from the scrumptious sound of BBQ grilling. Check. Ah Run, how you entertain us with your ditzyness 🙂
Just putting it out there, I think the show is suppose to be slow since there isn’t a continual plot or anything other than the characters’ interaction between themselves and others (aka that perverted teacher. He’s going to get a mouthful of iron from Tooru-chan soon ;))

    • Hoshi says:

      ~Yeah I figured ^^; I really am just used to more faster-paced shows…

(Definitely. I can already imagine Tooru with her bat hahaha.)

  4. Foshizzel says:

HAhah this episode was good xD Nice to see Tooru and Yuuko interaction so funny how she gets picked on so much! But still manages to get closer to Tooru.

Then again all the characters are cute! So hard to choose between them all right now xD

    • Hoshi says:

~It’s hysterical!! And I love how Tooru just keeps her straight face hahaha xD

Lol I had trouble to when I read the manga. They all are just too cute~

  5. amado says:

I read the manga and I know that they added/altered this ep from the manga. but they managed to make it fit perfectly. there werent supposed to be rain and the horror movie was actually in a movie theater.

unlike other anime, the added parts were good. they feel normal in this show.

    • Hoshi says:

~Yeah that’s what I really like! They manage to nicely fit in those jokes into the anime and not make the story seem uneven and random. Sometimes the added parts actually make it better xD

  6. Metalsnakezero says:

What, no comment on Hot Long Hair Negi!?

    • Hoshi says:

      ~-GASP- I TOTALLY FORGOT!!!
Aghhhh! And she’s my favorite too |’D

  7. Overcooled says:

At least the summaries are easy to write lololol

It’s better if you approach it as a slice of life as opposed to something that’s supposed to make you laugh. Because I really can’t bring myself to laugh at any of the jokes. I just watch for the cuteness and nice animation. :3

    • Hoshi says:

      ~Very true lol.

Ah, I see. I think I’ve been stuck on how I view its manga (if that makes sense lulz). I’m able to laugh at some of the jokes, but not all. And yes the cuteness and animation is what keeps me hanging on.

  8. Elyon says:

Oh Tooru, it seems I love you more and more every time I see you <3
Is Yuuko supposed to be like a parody of Mio? Because her appearance, fear of scary stories, and reactions are so similar that I seriously hope so. o.O
