Freezing (NSFW) – 10
Let’s play what are Pandora’s made of?! Wild guess it’s not chicken.
Fosh: Welcome back to Freezing! After the abduction of Ranka Lee aka Cassie the nova stalks outside the west genetics to take a few more Pandora as food. So, shall we continue the slow ride to this series? As we are getting close to the end! In other news, not much is going on, most shows are on break for a bit. You might see something else appear on Metanorn this week! Joined by Ness again for the tag team review; I bet she is happy this will finally wrap up soon.
Ness: Hello all! Not much is up besides Spring break is just about here for me. Not much of a spring considering that it’s raining horrifically. How I wish the sun would come and heat thing up (unlike this show). So here we are again, for another weekend of Freezing. Only two more episodes left and they’re finally busting out some actual story related items with the EVA monsters and such.
Plot this week: The attacking Nova arrives at the school and begin to spawn several girls with new stigmas raising an army of super powered zombies. Satellizer and Rana are itching to fight but have to defend the holy chamber as the zombie girls rush the last base. We also learn where Pandora comes from, not that it was a shocking discovery for me anyway.
Satellizer- “Gah, interrupting my alone time!”
Everyone just so happened to be undressed during this.
John Madden was here…
Bob- “Damn it, Steve, you said meet on the hill!” Steve- “Dude, I am so lost let me ask for directions”
While waiting on further orders, Rana attaches herself to Aoi to spark Satellizer into fighting. Yes, even with a nova outside, the girls still rather fight each other. Aoi gives his WE SHOULDN’T FIGHT EACH OTHER speech and calms the girls for now. Until the Nova arrive to take on the first wave of students, the Nova begins to spawn girls as they rush past them to enter the school.
Time to fight while people are dying! EXCELLENT IDEA, GIRLS!
Hey you, guyz! It’s time to raid! Did you bring enough potions?!
Red glowing girls do come from giant alien robots!
Cassie- “STOP CALLING ME RANKA!”
Ness would have to agree there, Miyabi got freaking owned!! Hahahha.
The Nova girls break through the poor defensive group and make way to the main building, like a massive train of blade wielding crazy chicks! They break through walls and doors. They are after the original Pandora by the name of Maria Lancelot; really cool name! We also get a big secret unfold before us, the Nova are related to the Stigmas inside the girls. A bit of Evangelion anyone? Anyway, the episode ends with Satellizer, Rana, Aoi and Genessa preparing to hold the fort.
Good thing you have the main characters here to defend.
All praise the mighty girl in the space tube!
Cassie- “Use the damn buddy system!” Sexy Train incoming!
Extra Service!
Attia- “Pssh… I should have been topless in this scene…jerks”
“YES! Top score! Oh right, monster attack, sorry boss!”
Oh, Rana I love you! You made this episode so good, that’s what this show basically is; good call Rana.
John Madden was asked to leave after this one.
End Thoughts:
Fosh: This wasn’t such a bad episode this week; then again there wasn’t anything all that amazing either! I guess it was cool to see the Nova-form girls own some lesser liked characters. Rana of course seemed to want to start something with Satellizer and it always turns out to be Aoi stuck in the middle of the love drama or they want his “power”.
I was happy Aoi cleared up the really dumb drama between himself and Satellizer, if this was any other series they probably would have dragged that on for five or six episodes. I wasn’t too happy that the Nova kind of parked outside and dropped the girls at school; guess the Nova are now bus drivers? The other students did fight a few of them but no one really died! I wanted at least some character deaths…
Now the ending was alright, and I will admit I didn’t see the whole Nova are Pandoras spin till halfway through the episode. ‘Course, there are plenty of anime out there that use this plot twist. I guess you can see where they got their core ideas from. I did like that Maria Lancelot character, really nice to see the original Pandora being kept as a shrine or like a fish in a tank! Lol.
Ness: Really not much has happened in this episode but I’m sure that I can find a few things to say about it. First off, I knew somehow that the West Genetics would be able to get into the action but how sad that East Genetics was defeated so easily. Then again, they were not expecting the Nova have evolved to such a level as to consume the pandora. But before that, lets have a go at Kazuya and Sattelizer. Oh my how dramatic this pair is and yet how annoying Kazuya’s voice still is. How classic for Sattelizer to overhear Kazuya’s reasoning for choosing her as his pandora. Then again, I’m sure we all knew that it had to do with his sister, just that Kazuya was somehow cornered into making that his main reason by Arthur. I do find it amusing that during the whole argument between Kazuya and Sattelizer that we leave it to Lana to try and be the bad girl to patch things up between them. But obviously it wasn’t the right time to fight as Kazuya intervenes.
The infiltration on the base with the Nova-turned pandora was not surprising. How funny that Miyabi was ignored but then again she’s not that important. The choosing of Ganessa, Lana and Sattelizer to protect the Holy Corpse was obvious and yet humorous. Guess they had to add in Ganessa all into the yet again. However, the story of the Holy Corpse being the source to the pandora’s power in the form of stigmas which are a part of the Nova falls into the category of expected and boring plot.
I think now, I’m not watching this show for the story but for some fighting. I’ve pretty much become uncaring at the excess boob exposure and fan service. There are actually some not so bad fighting scenes in this series. For one, I like Lana vs. Ganessa. I think that out of all the pandora, Lana’s powers is more cool with her hand to hand and speed combat. I hope that within the next two episodes that they wrap things up well because we know that Sattelizer still has to save the day, as she is the main character and is a BAMF with her seriousness and such. Well, I think that is all I can say for this. Until next time, lataz~
Preview!
More boobs and blood next week! As the girls play defend-the-base from the evil nova! Hopefully there are people dying next time? Fingers crossed.
Thanks!

Rana is alright she makes this show fun for me at least, I just like her happy attitude about everything! It’s nice compared to the others who all want to fight all the damn time.
Lol true Ganessa isn’t so bad 😛

Well Sateillzer can’t compete against Rana! Just kidding we all can tell how things will go Aoi and Sateillzer will end up being good friends. Hell all the girls will just be “friends” with him.
Or maybe she will be totally badass in the last episode?! Hahaha.
