Shiki OST – Mini Albums

Did you forget about Shiki already?! Shame on you! Natsuno is not pleased at all~

So, that was a ruse and I’m hallucinating about bloodsucking okiagaris. It happens when you fall sick and are alone in a dark room. No, that was not me being overly dramatic, rather due to power outage and being totally drained of energy, I will be pretty much holed up in my bed throughout the day. Of course, that doesn’t stop me from being online and even posting on Metanorn; my home away from home. *wipes nose and continues on with bleary eyes*

So, while trawling the web aimlessly, I found to my joy that the DVD/Blu-ray releases of Shiki actually are bundling mini Soundtracks (too bad they are not releasing it in one go!). Now, how I found these are another questions altogether. Listening to them however was quite nostalgic and made me miss the brilliance of this horror series even when I was not completely satisfied. Of course, that’s not that bothersome and there’s manga to fall back on. Following are the two gems I found and a must have for all Shiki fans. SO, ENJOY these two Shiki OST Mini Albums~!

I was almost squealing, when I got the Rouge album! Even though it’s so small, I was hyped about it for several days, before and after I got it.
But I didn’t check out, if there was a second one…… Kyokai-san, arigatoooooo!
This is one of the best OST I have ever heard up until today ** I literally liked all of the soundtracks, considering how picky and b*tchy I am *0*

Great albums to a great horror anime. One that no one will easily forget. Shiki was absolutely brilliant! The creepy music went along nicely with the story and each episode was better and scarier than the last. I’m still suffering from a hole in my heart knowing that it’s over but once the english dub comes out on DVD, I won’t hesitate to get it. That’s a promise.

    Oh, baby.

  9. Am I the only one disappointed by how “Amethyst” on the Rouge OST is pretty much a carbon copy of “Pendulum” from Noir? :\

Beyond that, these are some pretty good soundtracks.
