Anivision Episode 74: Raging with Kyokai

And you think Kyokai sleeps? *snerk* Well, she does, for a bit at least. Hear her hang out and rage with the Anivision guys (Jrow, Xcom, Amuro and Steev-sensei) to discuss the current season’s upside and downside.

What is this dealio, man?! You would ask. Well, the dealio is that our Overload, Kyokai had a fun time with Anivision, a seasoned podcast and aniblogging team, who have been around for some time. And as you already know, we are a friendly bunch here at Metanorn as it’s Kyo’s idea to build our network of buddy aniblogs and anipodcasts to spread the fandom love. So, now the Anivision guys are officially part of our blogroll and buddy network.

If you are looking for some history, Jrow lays it quite nicely:

“Anivision was originally started by Xcom as a high school club back in 2003, which was then called Ja2 (*Japanese Animation and Art, JA Squared*). Over the years, with fellow site admins Jrow, steev and at the time ordinary member Amuro, Anivision has seen many versions of its own self. JA2 became Anivision; Anivision became Anime Katsu!; Anime Katsu! died and tried to revive itself as Neo Nippon. And now, we’re happily back to Anivision. Yeah, we change names more often than your local bank, but the Anivision name has been better than ever since the Anivision Podcast was founded back in ’09. Anivision’s aim has and always will be to bring the worlds of Anime and Gaming together, as they deploy both a blog and podcast presentation in an attempt to cover both your eyes and ears with insightful opinions about the lastest going-ons in anime and gaming.”

Kyokai was invited as a guest host for their Episode 74 to add in some raging serious thoughts on the currently running series, giggles and the much needed feminine voice. Not only she raged on some topics but punctuated everything with giggles, OWSSUMNESS and laughter. Who would think that this cheerful lady can be one scary boss… *cough*writesawillbecausewillsoondie*cough* Before I get in trouble, here are the show notes:

yeah the right hand 3 are karanokyoukai (or possibly just the middle (shiki) and the far right

    • Kyokai says:

Sophie, Thanks! I sure had a blast with the Anivision guys. About the image, it’s from the Type-Moon (the game company that makes some awesome game/VNs like Fate/Stay night, Tsukihime, Meltyblood, etc.) universe.

In the front, it’s Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai (anime movies), who is also part of some other Type-Moon games as well. The ones beside her are her different counterparts in different series like Tsukihime, Kara no Kyoukai and Melty Blood. Starting from left: Tohno SHIKI, Nanaya Shiki, Ryougi Shiki (center), Tohno Shiki and Lio Shirazumi. Multiple names are different personalities or counterparts (something that is overplayed in Nasu-verse).
