Yosuga no Sora – 12 (NSFW) [END]

Dorama! In Haru’s world? No way!

Another week full of anime and fun! Was happy to learn a few of my favorite shows are getting more episodes, well mostly Star Driver. Yes, I know not many like it however I can overlook the sparkles, well most of the time anyway. Just finished the anime movie called The King of Thorn. Wow, what a great movie, I recommend you to watch it, if you’re into science fiction and survival horror. ALSO, Christmas is close! Who’s excited?!

In the last episode expect drama, of course with what happened last time, wouldn’t surprise me to see some. We rejoin Kozue and Nao walking in on the siblings doing it like bunnies and she running away in panic. Yes run! For you can’t scrub the images from your mind! Besides you are a side character, no one cares for.

Run like the wind! You are not important

Shall we continue?

Whoa there is a breeze…oh wait clothes…

The next day Haru goes to school with Sora and enters the class to see Kozue and her bloodshot eyes. You need some Visine…it gets the red out… Haru then tries to patch things up with Nao but she doesn’t really want to hear it from him. Yeah screwing your own sister in front of your girlfriend is not cool… Noa then meets Sora on the roof to have a girl to girl talk.

Just a normal day at school! Sun is shining and…

Holy crap you’re possessed by a demon or smoking some weed?

Yeah….I screwed my sister, my bad yo! Can we be friends? Oh…never mind.

After having no luck saying sorry about what happened Haru returns home and goes to his room, where Sora comforts him a bit later. However, Haru really isn’t in the mood to mess around but gives in, pushing her to the floor and forces her shirt open to mess with her but she ends up crying and retreats. Damn, Sora likes to twist his mind up! Very sneaky.

The two of them have a verbal fight with Sora wanting to play; sadly Haru doesn’t want to and ends up slapping her to knock some since into her. About time you did that! Not that hitting people is the answer, but she was asking for it.

Forced play time between Haru and Sora

More angry sexual fun for Sora…

At least Haru didn’t take a page from Touma.

After Sora’s big slap, Haru tries his best to continue life as normal around Sora. However their uncle has informed them that they are short on money and he tells Sora they must move apart. Sora then storms from the room and later on ends up running away, yes running away worked so well the first time. Haru runs out to find her and is joined by Nao to search for her with him.

Guess Sora wasn’t hungry…

Haru-“Sora ran away again”                  Nao-“Someone tie a bell on her!”

While searching for Sora, he remembers the others talking about the lake behind the shrine and runs towards it to finds her in the lake and rushes in. While attempting to save his sister, he gets pulled into the water and the two of them sink to the bottom. Sora saves him, not sure how but she does and the two of them share another make out sessions. After that it seems a few days or weeks have passed as Haru and Sora are catching a train to leave the town.

Damn it man, stop making out with her!

Haru leaves them and the small group of friends starts to miss them, but Kozue has another fit of anger and walks away. So much anger! Kozue needs to move away from everyone or find a boyfriend. The episode ends with Haru and Sora making out again on the train, she really can’t keep her hands off him.

No arc for you? Damn girl that sucks! Naw just kidding, no one cares…

Last make out session of the series!

Extra screens!

There can be only one!

Swim suit fetish anyone?

Or shrine maiden? Very nice…

Haru still gets his way in the end.

Congratulations, you survived!

Final Thoughts

First half of this was more drama filled than anything with Haru wanting to stop playing around with Sora and wanting to move away to give them some distance. I kind of expected her to react this way; she enjoys her new style of life too much to give up now. Sora was very pushy this time too! Until Haru had to slap her; I was happy for that but felt kind of sorry for her. I mean, sure she’s crazy and obsessed over Haru but she is just really lonely.

Second half was more of the same with Sora running away to solve her problems, Haru arriving to save the day and almost getting killed in the process. I was waiting for that to be the ending, but was a bit surprised to see them survive that mess. Nao seemed a bit off too after seeing Haru with Sora. Though, she didn’t take it as hard as Kozue did; then again Nao isn’t perfect either so I guess she can let some stuff slide for now. She also tells Haru about Sora, getting even with Nao after seeing what she did when they were younger.

The ending bit was kind of funny too; all the various cosplay outfits for Motoka reminds us of the various girls Haru went for in the series. Not sure if there will be more episodes or specials coming out but we shall see! If anything, whatever they release will make money.

Overall this series had its ups and downs, some arcs weren’t as popular as others, until of course the fourth episode when they showed the first sexual scene between Haru and Kazuha. That’s when the non-gamers or manga readers got the feel for this show, not that everyone wanted to see that happen but it definitely pushes the limits. Then again it’s made by the same guy who directed Aki-Sora, another incest-filled anime.

But not sure if this would be a series I’d buy, probably not. Though, I did enjoy the story and the bit of extra fun between Haru and the various girls but it’s not something I would watch again. I really enjoyed the artwork and music; it really had great stuff during the emotional scenes as well as the comedy and random stuff. This is a nicely animated show, course most of the detail is in the character designs.

Well, thanks for reading! Yay, a finished series; hope everyone enjoyed this.

didn’t watched king of thorn yet. haven’t finished downloading it :'(

overall this show is all right. it’s just drama drama and drama in this anime. and smex. haru is a really weak character. he’s always confused about everything, but for some unknown reason is banging all the girls there.

    i like sora’s arc the most, and i hate nao’s arc. 8D

and as for the ending, i think they sorta mix the ending? both the bad and the good ensing for the game?
because it’s sorta obvious that both sora and haru died from drowning, yet both of them are said to live abroad with their parents’ friend. i tried to look it up in lots of forums, and everybody’s arguing whether sora and haru is dead or alive. one of the user said they mixed the ending, so i guess she’s right. there’s too many signs implying that both of them died, but the friends said that they live with their parents’ friends. so confusing :S
oh well, i think they both died and were in the train of afterlife, and i like that. more drama for me 8D

    • amado says:

      I think the better word for it is an ambiguous ending;
maybe sora and haru died, got “reborn” to live a new life and are headed to heaven or something using a train.
or maybe sora did save them(or maybe nao secretly like shown in the ED song) and haru sent the gang a message before leaving to another place

      • Foshizzel says:

Right being reborn might make things add up better, I mean who saved them from the bottom of the lake?? I thought Akira did since she saw the gate was opened. But why would she save them and run off? seems odd.

      • anaaga says:

i guess it’s one of those endings where they want the watchers to decided by themselves, like that movie Inception…
i can’t help but thinking that they’re dead, because sora didn’t answer haru at all when he asked her whether they’re alive or not. she just smile and hug. and then they do the half-naked thing xD the train is sorta weird too, since the view from the train’s window is only sky. there’s no trees, rocks, or houses. sora can swim, but they didn’t show it. so if people want a happy ending, i guess they just have to imagine that sora did saved both of them. and those who don’t want a happy ending just have to imagine that both of them did drown and ended up in the afterlife train. it really is an ambiguous ending :S
the text message isn’t really a text message, since there’s no part showing who it is from. it’s just like a note, there’s no TO: and FROM: and the girl sorta avert her eyes when she was talking abt it. most people who sux at lying do that xD probably, or not. maybe they forgot to put the details of a message, but it’s kinda weird for them to forget about that… they even changed sora’s ribbon from black to white when she’s in the train. and haru’s clothes from gray to white

        • Foshizzel says:

True that is a good point to, letting the viewers decide what really happened. Guess Sora could have saved Haru maybe had a surge of adrenaline and saved him, could have happened.

They were wearing all white on the train if I remember..maybe thats sort of like saying they moved on? or something lol don’t wanna bring religion into this because it’s like they are saying oh its cool do mess with your siblings…

    • Foshizzel says:

Ah nice I just found out that was already released months ago, think it had no subs at the time. Great visual movie blends a tiny bit of CGI and animation.

Agreed this show was alright, nothing amazing but decent entertainment.

Yeah there was lots of drama in almost every arc, and of course smex lol. Haru was well interesting to me he does get with every girl that is true, but for me you can see he actually cares for the girls he gets with.

That is a interesting ending idea, now that you say that about them being reborn and dying it kind of adds up. The shrine girl did mention something about being reborn with the water…

      Great comment 😀

  2. amado says:

its quite symbolic in the end, haru and sora might have drowned in the lake and “reborn” aka have a new life, they then are now on a train to start their new life.

overall, this series was pretty great to me, best drama anime this season imo.
    my rankings for each arc:
    sora
    akira
    kazuha
    nao

unfortunately, we probably wont get any more anime like this because of tokyo bill 156…

    • Foshizzel says:

Thats about the same as my list 😀 well I would switch Sora and Akira but thats just me, I always go for the oddball/crazy girl that tends to be hyper.

      Oh?! damn…that sucks.

    • anaaga says:

no more anime like oremo too, thanks to that ishihara. apparently he only reads comics showing 8 years old girls being raped, which i don’t think there’s any comic like that unless it’s hentai

      • anaaga says:

and yes. like nao’s arc the least. heck, don’t like nao’s arc at all. i think she’s the most immoral of all girls, making haru to go into the path of horniness by taking his virginity when he was small. even sora didn’t do that! :S

        • Foshizzel says:

Lol yeah Nao has some issues xD well Sora just wanted revenge for that..but seemed to quite enjoy her time with Haru lol…

  3. Snowley says:

In-incest… incest… INCEST *vomits, jumps of a window, smashes into the ground and got hit by a car*

  4. Robert says:

    Best arc.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yes Sora does have a fun and strange arc 🙂

      • amado says:

I agree, and add that as the best anime this season.

seriously, they ended it quite great and try comparing it with the other anime this season.
its just not getting much viewers because of the wincest in it and nudity.

  5. Netstryke says:

Honestly, I liked the Akira ending better but that just me. The Sora ending was a long time coming and I can’t find the words to describe it but I can find the perfect song for it.

You’ll totally agree when you hear it.

    • Foshizzel says:

I liked Akira too! she was fun to watch and soooo cute as a kid ^^

Lol best song ever! fits perfectly good work 🙂

  6. Nagato_Yuki says:

I’ll go with the death theory. It seems impossible that she pulled them both out of the lake and the bunny in the end is also a hint.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah! isn’t Sora like really weak? not sure she could pull herself and Haru out of the water…

The bunny? you mean the one they showed at the end all torn up? think Akira passes the window seeing it.

      • amado says:

        not really, remember last ep?
when sora was able to do the chores in the house?
haru said that when sora tries hard, she seems to be able to do big things… so you can put it as will power

or like I said above, maybe nao secretly saved them like in the ED song since a lot of the OP and ED songs seems to foreshadow stuff…

        • Foshizzel says:

Yeah the end where Nao floats up and saves Sora and Haru? I thought about that too, but at the time she wasn’t near them unless shes got super powers…

And your right she was able to do work, just needed motivation >.>

      • anaaga says:

yesh the bunny’s torn. but sora got a new bunny in the train. the same exact one :S

        • edru says:

its been proven that sora did save them, according to this guy, in the novel she did and is strong enough, the anime just gave you the choice between them being dead or alive:
          http://randomc.net/2010/12/20/yosuga-no-sora-12-end/comment-page-1/#comment-620020

          • anaaga says:

that’s the happy ending for sora’s arc. i haven’t played the visual novel yet, but i’m pretty sure there are different endings for sora’s arc. that’s what most visual novels have. and even if there’s no bad ending, they might make a new ending for the anime. the anime doesn’t have to follow the happy/same ending from the novel. hakuouki’s anime ending is different and is not in any of the game’s route. the ending of phantom is not happy.
it’s impossible to be 100% sure that both of them are alive with lots of hint of them being dead. it’s just a matter of the audience’s choice if he/she wants them dead or alive

            • Nagato_Yuki says:

Didn’t she get the bunny when she was sick many years ago? I thought it was a one-of-a-kind (which is why I went with the death theory) but if it’s a regular bunny then I guess they lived in the end :V

            • anaaga says:

sora treasures it because it’s her mom’s only memento. that’s why sora was all panicked when the bunny was in the building which was on fire (the one in nao’s arc). and it was all torn up, so i don’t get why she has a brand new same exact one in the train.
some people suggest that haru bought that, giving the symbol of a new beginning. but that doesn’t really make sense, because a new beginning is usually represented with something different, not the same exact thing. and the bunny will be meaningless if sora bought a new one, since it’s not her mom’s memento.
they didn’t show who saved them. although sora did saved both of them in the game, it wasn’t shown in the anime. there’s no proof that sora saved both of them in the anime. but they were in the train alive i guess? i guess they did that to have the whole ambiguous ending for the anime. so yeah, it’s safe to assume that they’re dead.

          • amado says:

yeah like I said above, the ending was ambiguous to the viewers so fans can decide whether they’re alive or dead.

I go for them being alive, I want both to have a happy ending.
I hope they’ll have kids which will make it more interesting and heartwarming for me, just hope they dont get any disorder…

          • Foshizzel says:

Ooooh nice 😀 endings like this always make for fun debates just like this. Not sure what I feel on the ending I am leaning to dead more than alive.

        • Foshizzel says:

Oh snap your right! strange…maybe they are ghosts on the train O_o! or alternate reality!

          • amado says:

oh you guys are heartless… so mean to sora and haru…
cant you guys just give them a break and a happy ending?

well just to throw another one in, how did kazuha receive that text message from haru?

            • Foshizzel says:

Lol true I always wondered about the Text message…Not sure how they got that.

            • anaaga says:

@foshizzel: it’s probably the train for a new life? after they’re dead? i like that idea 😀

@amado: hey, dead or alive, as long as they’re together, it doesn’t matter right? 8D

            • amado says:

yeah they’re together, which makes me happy.

but if they were alive, they might have cute kids you know…
just hope they wont inherit genetic diseases and disorder due to incest…

            • anaaga says:

              if they ended up having children, i think there’s more chance for their children to have genetic diseases. they’re not just normal siblings, they’re twins ^^;

i wish they could show that whole 10-years-later thing like what they did in amagami 🙁

            • amado says:

they’re fraternal twins, so they’re still like normal siblings.

and I agree that it might have been better to have a 10-years after like what amagami did

            • nikanoru says:

The text message was hinted to as being made up by Nao and the others to save Kozue from blaming herself for their deaths.

Remember that small scene where Ryouhei was reciting part of the message to Nao? What other reason could there be for doing that, other than “rehearsing” it? I can’t think of any.

Also there was the part where Akira asked if there had been any more messages since that last one, but there hadn’t been. Also like Anaaga said earlier, there’s no TO: and FROM: in the text message.

That’s a lot of hints. I want to believe they’re alive because them being dead just makes me depressed, but Idunno. I think that’s what the writers intended…

Here’s hoping for some OVA’s or something that expand their story arc, like in the VN fan disk. Poor Sora and Haru… :/

            • amado says:

eh thats just another theory like every other ones out there that claim that they’re dead or alive.

you just decide whether you prefer to think if they’re alive or dead.

            • nikanoru says:

Well, just saying, the text message is easily explained, if you wanna hang onto that.

Idunno, there’s just way too much hinting going on for my tastes. :/ I wish they’d just gone with a clear good end. Now I can’t stop thinking about it, lol. Poor twins…

This makes me think Noa’s arc actually has the nicest ending, even if her story isn’t the most engaging. Whether or not they survive in Sora’s, in Noa’s they get to live AND get to stay with all their friends, while it’s the only other arc that actually has some of Sora’s issues resolved, and has her at least a little happy at the end, seemingly.

Gah I don’t usually fuss so much over one anime, lol. >_> Stupid YnS, it’s not like I like you or anything…

  7. Foshizzel says:

@anaaga Haha! train of life Wooooooooot

  8. Yi says:

I don’t watch this anime, but I’ve heard of various things. On a whim, I decided to click into here. It’s as bad as the rumors say.

“Yeah screwing your own sister in front of your girlfriend is not cool”
Loll. I think that says it all…

  9. Di Gi Kazune says:

    Hmm… Fosh… did this series…

    Nii… Omega-good job!

    • Kyokai says:

      I remember persuading him to do it. I’m sure he still hates me for it. >>;

      • Di Gi Kazune says:

What? you mean perpetually scarred by the the final arc ending? It was the Wincestest Ending by which all future Wincest endings are judged by… 😛 Judging by the posts above, he secretly enjoyed it.

        • Kyokai says:

My reasoning was wincest of course. And yeah, Fosh definitely had a kick out of it 😉

          • JPNIgor says:

I unfortunately discovered Yosuga no Sora on a advertisement that whoever made the raw version happened to record by accident. I wasn’t even 15 by then but yeah, I watched it whole.

I did enjoy the OP theme though. I remember it even though I haven’t listened to it for 2 years.

            • Highway says:

My problem with the finishing arc was that Sora was such a brat the whole time, by the time it got to her arc I just wanted her to fall in an irrigation canal and drown.

And yes, the OP and ED themes were good. (first song I heard by Momoiro Clover)

            • Kyokai says:

Lol! Let that rage out HWY! xD

            • JPNIgor says:

My problem with everything Yosuga no Sora is that I felt I was doing something so wrong, watching them nipples, watching them (w)incest, watching them loli/shota that when I ended the last episode I kept staring at the screen and asked myself “What have I done with my life?”.

By the end, my favorite arc ended up being Sora, just because every other girl had oppai and I like pettanko better.
