Moments of the 00’s #2 – Phone Scene

Next up for the memorable moments of the 00’s was something very intense and heavy, unlike the very comedic opposite of the first one. Let’s get on with Moment #2 from ef ~a tale of memories~, a very infamous scene from Episode 7 that is just scarring. It just tells you to always keep your cellphones close around, before someone gets……..

This such a very memorable intense scene. First time I watched it back then and, I was like, WOW. Dear lord I was completely speechless. It was completely heartbreaking and chilling at the same time watching a scene starting from a single missed phone scene, until she spams  more and more up to the point we have someone having a mental breakdown already. This was just… one scary mess.

SHAFT was just amazing on how they added the artistic factor in presenting the visuals as well, we have all messages written on screen one by one. Add to that is the suspenseful music, and we have one catastrophic scene that makes this scene a stand-out on psychological drama moments of the 00’s.

I was SO creeped out when I was watching this. I have to give props to Shaft – they really know how to use their “artistic” execution.

Good thing everything turned out right in the end.

when i watched it a few months ago, i was like “gosh she must go to the hospital quickly” it’s rather scary and disgusting, it’s only a missed call and she’s already freaked out like that LOL, it’s not like the boy is going somewhere far away from here, right?
