The Katanagatari OP animation was leaked quite early eh. It was quite cool. The art was very refreshing and nice to look at, the song was nice too. Can’t wait for the anime to be out on January 25. Seiyuus and off-topic ramblings below the cut.

And on other note, I also watched a few Winter shows that aired already, I guess I’ll discuss it in here as well. Chu-Bra was a bit funny but I don’t know how long that will last, add that was ridiculous panty overload that I’m just too lost for words to describe it. Ladies VS Butlers might just be the worst show of the season so far. Not that the fanservice (oh hai creators of Kanokon) disturbed me, but the lead female has fucking HUGE crossaints as hairstyle. Last but not the least, Sora no Woto set the bar up really high now. Sora no Woto gave me a very good first impression, well maybe that’s just because the rest I watched so far had been below mediocre. This is the Winter show to beat!
I still have no show to blog so far, Kanzie will be the one to handle Sora no Woto once she comes back from her break. I think I’ll really just settle for Vampire Bund this season. Darn, just a few days left.

Regarding the other shows so far, I agree on Sora no Woto (though it’s the only one out of the winter lineup I watched so far) and hope it gets better as the season goes on.

That’s some cool animation we’ve got here! I also like Kuribayashi Minami’s performance, and I think that the changes of the tune are the best choice sound-wise for this kind of OP.
