Kannagi 08 and 09: – A healthy imagination makes everything crazy.

Tsuiteru: Wow… finally a chance to catch up on Kannagi!!! Forgive me for the delay… I was really the one who’s at fault for this since I had computer problems at our house so I have to go to Kanzeon’s to watch this and make this post together XD.

~Episode 08~

Tsui: Episode 8 is the start of unexpected things to brew. At a rainy night, Nagi and Jin sees a soaking wet Daitetsu knocking on their door so they make him come in. Daitetsu, who seems to have gotten locked out into his own house, finds himself unable to break in and gets a police visit instead. Now they decide to help Daitetsu stay for the night.

All things seems easy breezy… until Daitetsu’s colorful imagination begins to work and runs riot towards the relationship of Nagi and Jin. Daitetsu, who still thinks that Nagi and Jin are siblings, turns that into an erotic and incestous relationship.

Kan: Lol. He’s watching too much telenovelas…

Tsui: -_- Ugh.. Let me continue okay? Here is how Daitetsu’s healthy imagination works…

As Jin and Nagi try to cover up the fact that they aren’t related at all, things only had started to get worse. Daitetsu admits that he had stolen the tree from which Nagi was carved by Jin. All Hell breaks loose, as Nagi beats up Daitetsu, and saying that his actions should made him be cursed.

During the blackout, Daitetsu became literally haunted by Nagi and he runs up into the shrine to ask for forgiveness. There a lightning struck upon his and a spire was formed, in which Nagi appears too. She also seems to be very different than her usual self, with a deeper tone in her voice and a much more motherly one.

Kan: Now on the next day at school, it seems like Tsugumi and the fellow art club members are getting suspiscious between Jin and Daitetsu as well. Especially when Tsugumi eavesdropped on a certain conversation between Jin and Daitetsu. The art club girls enter the art room as they see a stand-off between Jin and Daitetsu!!! End of episode ^_^!!! Haha lol finally! NOW TSUI GET IT ON WITH EPISODE 9!!!!!

~Episode 09~

Tsui: Episode 9 puts on the spotlight on Jin’s childhood friend, Tsugumi, and as well as some… well, issues that’s rofl’ing hilarious. As the story continues, the art club gossips about some homosexuality issues between Daitetsu and Jin.

Tsui: Tsugumi corruption is cool! Takako senpai is awesomecakes.

Kan: Jin in bishie-mode pic ^_^

Tsui: Tsugumi seems to not accept the secret rumor that Jin’s a homo ape but she unintentionally screamed to everyone, which had spread the rumor more. The whole school changed their attitudes towards to both Jin and Daitetsu.

Kan: When will we get to see more of Akiba?

Tsui: A friend of Tsugumi encourages her to bring the topic to Zange, who decided that the best solution to the problem is for Jin to officially date a girl, and she offers herself to do so.

Tsui: Tsugumi’s not the “Too Pure Pure Girl” anymore XD!!!

Tsui: Later at Jin’s house, Tsugumi apologizes to him and he is asked by them to choose between dating Zange or her to clear out all misunderstandings, until Nagi suggests that both should be trying to get his affection in public as a “fitting solution”. However, having two girls fighting so fervently for Jin at school ends up fueling even more bad rumors about him.
