MetaFAP has returned!!
Ready for some ecchi fun!? Yes MetaFAP is back as promised from our summer choices and with things like Monster Girl, To Love Ru and a few short shows we have plenty of material to work with and Highway will be joining me!

Honestly, it’s been quite the drought on shows worthy of MetaFap. But this season, we’ve actually got a few that we think can fit in here, between the short-shorts of Bikini Warriors, the boldness of Okusama ga Seitokaichou, the pr0n pratfalls of Rito Yuuki in To-Love-Ru Darkness, and the cute monsters of Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou. So we hope you enjoy the… resurgence… of MetaFap!

This week on To Love-Ru Darkness Rito turns into a damn mouse thanks to one of Lala’s super alien inventions which sent him on a crazy adventure like always and it causes chaos for all the girls around him, but we also got plenty of Mea action this week as she struggles to find her “place” in the world and she is also very worried about her master? Just where did Nemisis go? When will she return? Also the fact that Nana finally saw Mea’s true living weapon form at the end isn’t going to be helping things between the two of them.
Rito knows all the butts.

Part of the return of MetaFap is cute monster girls doing cute harem things. After spending the first episode getting us introduced to the world of “Darling-kun” (I don’t think we’ll ever really learn his name is actually Kimihito, and I don’t know if that’s a bad thing, given how awkward that name is) and Miia the Lamia and the rules of the Interspecies Exchange Act, episode 2 spends its two halves introducing us to the next two girls that are going to complicate Darling’s life.
I’ll admit, the way she held the cone was cute
First up is Hapi… Parpy… er… Papi! The Harpy who is all wings, talons, and enthusiasm. Not the smartest bird in the flock, tho, with the typical “3 Steps and Forget” personality. She abducts Darling off the balcony, just because, but turns out that Smith was going to foist her on Darling anyway, because she kept running away from her host families. If you like childish characters without much smarts, you probably love Papi, but so far she’s just not doing anything for me in particular.
Rito Yuuki’s “Lessons on Meeting New Girls” have worked.
The other new addition is Centorea the Centaur… because we couldn’t possibly get a name that was any more than 2 letters different from the character’s species. But instead of this just being a Smith Screwup, we find out that Centaurs are allowed to choose their own host family… and that it’s more of a, shall we say, long-term kind of pairing. Although Cerea didn’t quite mean it to go that far when she tried the “run into a boy around a corner” trick (missing the important “bread in the mouth” part, tho). But as things are wont to do in a show such as this, it all gets out of hand when she wants to chase a purse snatcher on a scooter, and insists that Darling come along, ending up with him riding her, something far more intimate than he intended.
At least he realizes how this looks…
So now the house has three different monster girls, and they’re filling up harem tropes pretty easily: The normal but slightly dumb one in Miia, the childish one in Papi, and the haughty “I’m the proper wife” one in Cerea (Tsukiumi was better at this than Cerea is, so far). It looks like next week we’re going to get a chance to consolidate the house with these three girls, before we can expect more new arrivals.

Bikini Warriors – 02

What can you say about Bikini Warriors? Blatant fanservice? I think it takes blatant up a few notches, actually. Most of the show is close ups of different body parts of different girls. Trope deconstructing? Yeah, you could say that too. Everyone’s played an RPG or MMO where the same armor on male characters that is a full tunic or leggings somehow is a bikini, halter top, or hot pants on a female character. We actually joked that one item in WoW was the “Nipple Clamps of Nature Protection”, because of how it looked on female characters. But Bikini Warriors goes right for this in the first episode, making a distinction between ‘armor’ and ‘swimsuits’, even though they look the same. Is that in the girls’ heads? Doubtful, but it’s funny. And that’s what else Bikini Warriors is: Funny. Haranguing the vendor for giving them swimsuits. Yelling at the king for giving them 10 gold to save the whole kingdom. “Why don’t you sell those guys’ fancy armor and give us that money?” “Hey, what’d we do!” Even ending up in the hoosegow for threatening the king. So I’m enjoying this short, for all the reasons it gives me.

Okusama ga Seitokaichou! – 02

I said before the season that I was a sucker for “Okusama ga” kinds of shows. They’re never the best, but for some reason, I just like the “My wife is something that she probably shouldn’t be” trope. In this one, Ui is the titular Seitokaichou, who has swept to the position by promoting the liberalization of love over the new fuku-kaichou, Hayato. But there’s another surprise for Hayato: Ui is also betrothed to him, due to a drunken agreement between their parents long ago. I think that a lot of people are surprised that this show turned out to have the amount of ecchi that it did, including nipples even (and the sucking thereof). I have to say that I kind of like the show, but I’ve got a little bit of annoyance with Hayato, who I think has too much of that bad characteristic of “I can’t control myself!” when faced with a modicum of titillation. I’d like to see it be more conscious on both of their parts that they’re willing to go a little farther than maybe they should, and not just be Ui giving herself to Hayato. But aside from that, Ui’s got a fun personality and the situation these two find themselves in is pretty amusing most of the time.

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou – 02: Among the three monster girls now living under the same roof, Miia is there is to offer. Papi is a cute harpy but the deal-breaker is her having the mind of child which makes it a shame. Centorea is different matter… I’m not a fan centaurs. The whole horse body thing is creepy to look at and for a good-looking girl to end up with such a body is a waste.
Kimihito needs some sort of compensation for everything Smith dumps on him. Speaking of her, she is HOT! But more so when she’s not in uniform.

Hmmm…. yeah. It’s not the breasts that threw me off, those I don’t mind at all. It’s the animal half of her body. I stumbled across some hentai doujinshis with the “monster girl” tag a few years back. One of them was a story with a Centaur girl. And let’s just say it’s something I wouldn’t want to revisit any time soon.
I saw about two with Lamia girls and those worked fine without a problem. It’s why I’m not disturbed with Miia.

By now, I guess I still like Miia better. I dunno if it’s because she looks so much like Asuna from SAO (o.O). Papi would be second because of her cute antics. Centoria is last mostly because I don’t like characters with huge tits, like giant ones. I’m wondering if the MonMusu from the ending theme will have any actual screen time. I’m really curious about them.
Okusama ga Seitokaichou: Uuuuh… I have the feeling I really should not be watching this. This whole arranged marriage seems so shady =.= Weird parents are weird. Well, thank goodness I always find the uncensored episode before the censored one, because the censorship is just waaaaay too hard. They actually change the ecchi stuff with static chibi images that you hardly get that they are actually doing something lewd. But wow, those are actual nipples. Never saw them coming.
I agree that the MC’s ease in losing control is kinda annoying. It’s probably just a means to the end of getting them to do something lewd, because otherwise nothing would happen beside the old trope of tits showing, MC has a nosebleed and end.

I like Centorea a lot better than Papi, because I like her personality that we’ve seen more. Papi is completely out of the running for me, because she acts like a kid. No thanks.
We’ll see if the little devils return in a bad way. Episode 3 had them show up, but it was not nearly as bad message-wise as the first episode.

I agree. Papi’s childlike personality really killed her appeal and on her debuting episode, no less. I was looking forward to seeing, too. It’s feels like being cheated of something.

Yeah, personality-wise, Centorea is a lot better. It’s a change of pace when a female character can actually assess a situation and notice that the MC isn’t in the wrong in certain situations, at least sometimes. But it’s kinda hard to get over her HUGE tits and her horse half.
I’m really hoping that Papi will have some maturity hidden somewhere. Like those dumb people who randomly say deep stuff here and there.

That kind of thing with Papi would still be a ‘no’ from me, because it always feels completely inauthentic. Like they had to make the cute kid say something interesting so that it’s not just a mascot character. But it just proves that it is a mascot character.
We’ll see if Centorea is as tsun as Tsukiumi is. I do think the two characters are similar, and while her being a centaur is a thing, I think she’s pretty comfortable with who she is.

My top 3 list is the same as yours but the reasoning is different. Centoria is in last place because for me, centaurs are a little grotesque (because the dominant part of the body is that of a horse). I don’t know why but I’m more at ease with Miia being a lamia.
They seem to be part of some enforcement team Smith has put together. As long as she’s involved in the story, I think the chances of seeing them on screen are strong.

I can see how a hentai with a centaur can go wrong. But Lamias can go just as wrong. I felt really awkward when the MC suddenly started faping her tail, and from there, it could get worse.

The Centaur girl wasn’t the only one I saw. There was a similar girl with the same make-up as a Centaur but the body was that of a donkey. I wonder what they call those.

To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd – 02: Had I not seen the previous season, I’d have told Rito to stay away from Lala’s inventions but they always seem to be drawn to him like a magnet. And the retribution he got from Yami after that unintentional lewd misconduct. The poor guy can’t catch a break.
That was quite a show Yui and Haruna put on. They really put some emotion to it. It gets a 10/10 for realism. 😛

Yeah Rito isn’t the best male character around, but my love of the series comes from Momo herself and I’ve always considered her to be the true main character of Darkness while we do follow Rito on his adventures she is still the one pulling strings on certain events.

I’m with you Highway, I didn’t think I would like Bikini Warriors or Okusama ga Seitokaichou!, but both have been highly entertaining. The former wasn’t even on my radar, but since it was so short I thought I would see how it went.
I’m still undecided on Monster Musume though. I have this aversion to anthropomorphized animals (yet for some odd reason it doesn’t bother me at all in Dog Days… weird). That was one reason why I hesitated to watch Spice & Wolf for the longest time, only relenting after all the recommendations.
