Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda – 11- 12 [END]

Kate vs a giant robot!? AWESOME!

Oh no! Zvezda is officially over which makes me feel quite sad, but the only question I want to ask! Are we going to get a second season? I sure hope so because we got something crazy at the end with another Zvezda team from America? I would love to see that! Anyway it is time for the final review of this amazing series.

This expression was priceless! I will miss Itsuka <3

It looks like the mystery surrounding Kate was revealed at last with the start of episode eleven which showed us that she is not technically a kid, but some kind of immortal or is she something else? I kind of viewed her as Shinobu from the monogatari who only appears as a kid due to her loss of power so I guess calling her an immortal works. I still can’t get over how amazing that final episode because it managed to be both CRAZY and FUN at the same time! Especially with Kate showing of her second transformation which allowed her to and fight Asuta’s father who turned into some strange cigar smoking demon who was also piloting a huge mecha?! Yeah that was the finale in a nutshell; however there were a lot of other things happening in the background like Renge suddenly appearing to throw a vending machine? I wonder if she is related to Shizuo of Durarara, but the best moment with her was her teaming up with Miki. So was anyone else surprised when Gorou and Kaori shared that kiss? I didn’t even think about that happening but it was nice and I can’t possibly leave out Natasha and Roboko who tried to take on that giant robot together and it looks like Yasubee re-joined team Zvezda? I guess he was always supporting them behind enemy lines? So what happens next for this crazy series? I don’t really know other than the fact they gave us several hints of another possible season in the future because of that whole reveal of that other Zvezda like team from America, but will be can Kate conquer America next season? I don’t see why not! So what did you enjoy about this oddball anime about a loli who wants to take over the world? Personally I loved each and every character and the mystery surrounding Kate along with the goofy themed episodes.

9/10 – I wish I could join Zvezda!

Extra conquest

About

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

~I actually enjoyed this show a lot, which I didn’t expect at all. Definitely one of my favorites from Winter. It was totally ridiculous and weird, but it was so much fun and I’m super sad to see it go ;; Hopefully this does get a second season where they’ll go to America because I’m totally ready for all the American jokes LOL. Itsuka is forever my favorite ;sldkghg.

Same Hoshi! It was a lot of fun to follow Kate taking over the world and I agree Itsuka was such a great character I will miss her and I really hope we get a s2.

Well I enjoyed the first and last episodes but most of the rest of the time I was wondering what they were trying to do.
Except when shipping Robin X Asuta.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah I could see that it did feel as if Zvezda was looking for its place in the world of anime, but at least we got some of our questions answered about Kate and some of the other Zvezda members.

      Robin x Asuta is great!!

Sekai Seifuku was an unexpectedly fun ride from start to finish and a glorious excuse to cheer the “bad guys” on for a change. Kate’s way of world conquest gives her a more tame appearance than I thought but I’m still laughing at a contradiction concerning how aggressive an approach she took in the smoking episode.

Itsuka’s case was a shocker. So she has a split personality and it’s determined by whether or not she’s wearing the eye patch? Odd but it works. 😉 So Kaori/White Falcon has also joined Zvezda. Got to wonder what her former subordinates are thinking of this. It would’ve been even better if Renge/White Robin also came along and paired up with Asuta. Their ship sailed a long time ago.

The finale was so open-ended, no excuse imaginable could say otherwise. I’d certainly love a second season but for now, we’ll have to make do with the unaired 13th episode set for October before anything else proceeds.

    9/10 – I wish I could join Zvezda!

That’s how much I’m giving the show and wishing the same thing. You might even get a cool hooded suit like Asuta.

    • Foshizzel says:

Hell ya! It was a very fun ride and I found myself cheering for the “bad guys” the entire time and it was refreshing to have it from their point of view even though we might as well consider them the “good guys” in the end! LOL that smoking episode was fantastic.

Maybe one day Robin and Egret will join them too? I bet they look great in black haha

I hope we go to America next! I certainly hope we get a s2 sometime in the future but I will look forward to that 13th episode.

      Great idea!

There must be a relative of Izaya Orihara in the area. They attract each other like magnets. 😀

If there was even an episode that underscored the whole of the show, this one is it. It pretty much gave you everything and the thrown vending machine, right?

It was kinda cheap how Roboko evaded her fate, but if it’s a bishoujou power up, then I’m fine with that…

A very fun ride. I wish they could have tightened up some areas just a bit more, but it looks like the deeper worldbuilding will have to wait for a new season? Like all dat martial law, the power of UDO (is it really just a vegetable?) and what kind of power Kate and Galaktica truly hold.

    Bring on the new!

Was there ever any doubt she would flash that licence like that?

    • Foshizzel says:

I was not expecting vending machines and the whole thing with Roboko showing off her moe transformation <3

      UDO is a mystery~

Kate on a motorcycle was EPIC!
