Episode 18 was alright but hopefully we’ll have Frau around for the next. I hope the accident hasn’t crushed Subaru’s admiration for robots though it’s going to be tougher to have interaction with him now that his father has a firmer grip on him.
The Kimijima Reports have been scattered but I’m sure most people aren’t going to believe it until something happens because of all the random and false information that must be circling on the net. You can’t really blame the public if they don’t know it’s true.
Kai and Aki sharing a hotel room was funny. It would have been news if they actually did something illicit but this is centered on a fairly young audience so I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
For someone who gets a positive view on herself, Misa is a very cold person. Her sister is desperate to see her, her best friend is dead and she coldly brushes it off like nothing. Come on, girl, have a heart. I’m beginning to think she has something to do with the Kagome-Kagome music. Everything down to her attitude has been questionable since her character has been introduced. Not to mention she was particularly interested in the rocket her father is associated with.
On a side note: Nice new avatar, Fosh. I like the eyes and I’m getting some awesome and intense Shiki vibes from it.

I don’t know if Frau will be around much because her story has been wrapped up for now unless Misa reveals that Frau’s mom is still alive? I suppose she could be “Tech” support if Kai and Aki need some special investigations…I feel you on Subaru hopefully he still likes robots after he recovers >.< Yep the seven reports are basically our version of 2012 end of days talks~ Kai and Aki sharing a room/bed just pushes the thought of them "getting" together as a "couple" but I still see them as just childhood friends without any romantic feels! To suddenly have them hook up would feel forced or convenient for me, but whatever I am cool with this. Misa is a odd character to figure out I mean is she really protecting Aki by keeping her in the dark this long? Personally I think she has her reasons, but at the same time I want to slap her and be like OMG GET OVER YOURSELF and TALK to your sister already! SERIOUSLY...I have a feeling there is a huge connection with the Kimijima reports+Airi+Robots+Rockets = Misa's story line. Thanks! Evil Cure Heart for the win <3

Frau tends to be in the story in fits and starts. She’ll be a major character for two and a half episodes, and then disappear for 4. She’s done that a couple times, so I expect her to be back for the climax as well, or at least play a major role even if she’s not physically present.

For a series that was very slow paced during the first half, they have managed to ratchet everything up to 11 in the last half.
This has been a great show; I was reluctant to invest time in it at first, but I am glad I did.
To me, the big two mysteries are: Why is Misa such a jerk-ass to her own sister. And what happened on that bloody ship so long ago. Oh, and that thing we call the 300.

I’ve absolutely loved the character driven pacing of the show. I mention it like every post on this show, but I never get tired of it. It’s not that it’s slow. It’s working really hard but it’s working on stuff that’s not evident. My analogy is probably too close to my work for other people to get, but constructing a roadway is a lot of work that doesn’t look like much but just pushing dirt around. And if a road takes 24 months to build, well, it’ll look like 18 of those months are just pushing dirt around, but then when you get to the end, you realize that it’s been getting everything in the right shape for the thin covering that finishes it all up and makes it look pretty and exciting. 🙂
That’s what I think R;N has been doing, spending a lot of time working on the foundation, and now it’s got a really solid base to put the final shine on the show.
