Are you sure it was Kudelia’s ponytail that inspired your drawing?

Yeah I read that and Bubuki is p much a message about humans destroying da world cause were awful to our planet and the bonds of family! Which to be honest is found in lots of anime, but hey its cool I do enjoy seeing anime series with messages in them so it works.

      • BlackBriar says:

True, that message is spread about and it’s the biggest component in shows like Seraph of the End (Personally my biggest draw), though in that series, the humans being awful part is way dominant. I have absolutely no qualms with stories that question humanity/human nature because it’s thought provoking and whether one likes it or not, there’s a lot of truth in that aspect. I have much respect for shows that have the nerve to go that route and not worry about frivolous matters like ethics.

Humans destroying the world because of selfishness and hubris is probably the theme of 95% of anime that’s ever come out. It reminds me of that time in the 90s when almost every single kids movie had to have some kind of environmental “humans bad” message attached to it. Ferngully, Once Upon a Forest, Captain Planet…lol There was a lot of it.

But anime hits that theme even more. I think that practically all of Ghibli films alone have that theme in some way or another.

Bubuki Buranki: Hoshi no Kyojin: Things are definitely getting interesting. Too bad the Russian Bubuki team leader found out too late that he was being played. The fault is him being too blinded by his lust for power when Guy was basically handing him everything. That said, I hope Kaoruko wises up soon since she doesn’t know piloting Entei comes with a price, a price any unsuitable fit has to pay. The one other than Reoko who piloted Entei was Zetsubi Hazama and she was almost burned alive just to maintain control.

    • Irenesharda says:

Oh the Russian team! 🙁 I’ll probably talk more about that next time, but it was really so sad!

Kaoruko is going to need some help to escape Guy’s pull, and her jealousy and anger towards her brother is going to hamper things.

@Fosh: It’s nice to see the Mechanorn posts back but it’s a surprise you didn’t include Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars. I thought you were really into that show. Since it involved mecha among other things.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah I really wanted to like Regalia, but it just didn’t click for me especially after the studio killed it and brought it back after four episodes and I haven’t seen it since it came back.

      Maybe ill series review that.
