I like the cat the most.

A Cat Is Definately Fine Too.

I thought they managed to pull the show out of the fire. It could have been better, but they made the time-travel / body swapping thing work, and even used it to wrap it up at the end by having a place for the dead guy’s spirit to go. There were some annoying distractions throughout the show, like I thought the ‘three-place swap’ was kinda dumb.

I still think the best part of the show was the last two lines of the OP song.

…the most important part of the show was the last two lines of the OP….

    • Foshizzel says:

Agreed on it could have been better and the body swapping thing does get a bit confusing, but the last few episodes explained who was who quite nicely for the most part and yeah there were a lot of distractions along the way.

      • akagami says:

They explained the who’s-in-whose body about halfway through the series, with the diagram that Chiranosuke drew.

Don’t get what the trigger was though. Having three uberfied people standing together means a swap happens? But it looks like it has can be stopped, in the case of Pine. Seems random.

Also lighting helped the first time, but I don’t really get how they did it the second time? Maybe the power of FRIENDSHIP!!

          • akagami says:

Must be the magical rings they were all somehow wearing (and we never saw a hint of until the very end)… I mean, with the weird shape it was, there’s no way you could somehow miss seeing it when they were wearing skin-tight gloves (or bare handed).

            Hmmmmm….

  3. JPNIgor says:

So, that was the perfect plan for a super happy and peaceful future, though not for Yuuta/Pine, but for Chiranosuke… Oh, you sneaky cat.

  4. akagami says:

My biggest problem with the ending was the random character switch Guriko did right before the body swap. She was out to destroy the world, and then one punch from Uberfied Chiyoko solves everything???

I do agree that the mid-episode card (first pic) was nice, I like the style.

    • Foshizzel says:

Yeah I don’t really get Guriko all that much and yeah the punch to the face is really dumb because what is really keeping her from trying again? I don’t think she lost her uberpowers…

Yep I loved all the eye catches for this <3

      • akagami says:

Eye catch! The word was on the tip of my tongue, but couldn’t remember the word. =P
