Zvezda on the run
Kaori doesn’t have time to wait anymore.
Remember the smoke Asuta saw on the way back from the hot springs? Yeah that was the Zvezda base being blown up because the government group led by Asuta’s dad managed to find their headquarters but who leaked that information? I guess the obvious suspect is Yazubee who is really the only option or do you think he still innocent until proven guilt and what about Kaori who quit being the leader of White Light so she can work with the government while leaving Miki as the new leader of White Light. So what about the Zvezda team this week? For starters since their main base has been destroyed they have set up a temporary base at the park inside the head of a dragon statue and to make matters worse Kate is acting completely crazy without her stuffed demon bunny! I guess she either needs that stuffed animal to maintain her mental state or she just can’t survive without it? Much like a kid who needs a blanket to sleep and we can’t deny the fact that she is still a child or is she? I mean she did get mad at Asuta who kept on calling her a child; however that could have be a minor thing to cause a few laughs to lighten the mood? Now onto the ending moments with Renge switching teams!? I thought that was really great because I guess Miki was given orders to kill Asuta by his own father? Damn now that is a bit extreme, but of course he is the main villain of the series right now. So what happens next? Does Asuta turn himself in to save the other Zvezda members and what about Roboko and Gorou who stayed behind to fight the government? With so much going on this week I can’t wait to see the next episode!

Their base is gone and they’re running out of options. Wow, things have really gone downhill for Zvezda. Who’d have thought they’d have things this bad happening to them? This is a personal opinion but though they’re trying to conquer the world, they look more like a neutral group while all the enemies surrounding them look like the bad guys.
Renge going rogue wasn’t much of surprise. The deal with her is that she’s too much of an idealist attached to her beliefs and now that White Light has become corrupt and power hungry, there’s no longer a reason to stay. Idealists are dangerous because they’re capable of anything if their beliefs are shattered but it’s not likely to happen with her since Asuta is holding her hand. At least their relationship is no longer forbidden. I wonder how she’d look in Zvezda attire.

Yeah I think that might be what the creators are going for to make Zvezda appear to be more “good” while the government comes off as being “evil” and it works really well! I just wonder where White Light fits in all of this or is that even a group anymore since Renge left and Miki is with the government.
True I saw that coming a mile away with her switching sides after she got close to Asuta, Kate and Roboko at the school. Renge with Zvezda clothes? Maybe she will take after Natasha? LOL
