Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda – 06

Zvezdaaaa (7)

Roboko-“Wow senpai saw my panties!?”        Asuta-“Don’t you even start with me today.”

So what is going to happen this week besides Asuta failing at being a detective but I guess that is the magic of this series.

Go back to school

Zvezdaaaa (6)

Kate is probably the shortest transfer student I have ever seen.

Whenever we have a school-ish setting in anime you can always count on that one trope of the surprise transfer student! This time we have Kate and Roboko joining Asuta’s class and those two were not the only ones going back to school because we also had Natasha, Itsuka, Gorou and yes even Yasabe manages to pull of the look of a middle school student somehow. So with all these Zvezda members at the school what are they even trying to accomplish by being there? I guess Kate learned that there is some hidden treasure at the school and with some information gathered by Renge they discovered that there is a treasure hunting club which nobody really knows about? Also we learned that Miki aka White Egret is the leader of that club and she is just using the treasure to lure the Zvezda members into a trap! I wonder why Renge did not get assigned this task instead of Miki or is this just their boss giving Miki a shot on a solo mission to prove her skills and does it mean that Miki might replace Renge as the acting captain? I could honestly see that going down but of course we all know that Zvezda will get the treasure and escape or will they? I would laugh my ass off if White Light successfully arrested the Zvezda team; however on the way to the jail they end up being saved at the last moment by some surprise character.

Now for some random moments! Who would have thought that Roboko actually had a cute side to her? I loved he addition of her school girl mode which made her quite talkative and how the hell did Kate even pass off as a middle school student in the first place when clearly her appearance is that of a she elementary school student, but I suppose that is the world of anime especially when we have characters like Mashiro of Mikakunin and Hotaru of Non Non Biyouri! I mean besides all of that we learned that Asuta and Miki knew each other when they were kids! I wonder if this means that Asuta comes from a wealthy family? Also I guess Kate kind of made friends with Renge while doing her best to act like a normal student and seriously why didn’t Renge figure out Kate’s identity as the leader of Zvezda when she put on the mask for the treasure hunting meeting or is Kate just a professional actress? So yeah this was a very nice mystery themed episode filled with lots of crazy stuff that made me laugh.

About

Is huge anime fan from Florida! who loves to watch anime and also enjoys drawing and collecting pictures, my favorite genre of anime has to be Mecha, there is just something awesome about giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Other than that type of show, I love a good comedy or action series :D

Renge doesn’t get assigned to anything, because she’s a screwup. She’s an honest, and hardworking, screwup, but she’s a screwup nonetheless.

I love the parts between Asuta and Renge where they’re trying to let on about their jobs, or tell the other one what they’re doing, but they never really come out and say it. Renge’s just so earnest about everything, and I think she thinks that Asuta is caught up in something she wouldn’t approve of (I’m not sure if Asuta even approves of it), but can’t come out and say it.

Well, in the White Light spin-off manga she succeeded in turning Dva into a typical Team Rocket twinkle (with some help by Kate) so its something 😛

    • Foshizzel says:

Hahaha yeah Renge is quite the screwup indeed xD

Yep those moments were interesting from the previous episode and it was funny how each character had something over the other with the secret jobs.

well give jimon school life is never be same again since kate & crew in his school.

yet seem notice jimon’s family had some history with miki’s family.

give treasure search eps going wonder how going the big treasure?

    • Foshizzel says:

Indeed the school life is going to be interesting with Kate and the other Zvezda members.

YEA! Miki and Asuta’s family is probably super connected~

I have no idea I guess we will see.

Hey, tis the first part of a multi part story! Will we finally learn just how Zvezda powers all those toys with Udo? Is mountain asparagus that mighty? I love asparagus with grilled pork, but is that enough to make my own evil super weapons?

I’m loving the near hits and misses with the cloak and dagger style comedy. Every thing is sent up so well, and Gorou is now the principal of the school! (that is what that statue means).

If the Treasure Club is a big old trap, how does Miki know she really has Zvezda in her clutches? As far as she knows, Renge could be the bad guy, and Kate is just some kid lulled in.

    • Highway says:

I thought the statue meant that he was impersonating a statue. I doubt he’s become the current principal, but he could be impersonating a former principal or the founder…

      • skylion says:

But could he fit in the base? I think he has the chops to become the new principal. That’s a surprise to come up next episode…

        • Foshizzel says:

I wouldn’t put it past this show to have Gorou to be hiding in that statue the entire time because I mean the other Zvezda members are walking around in plain sight…

    • Highway says:

Also, I’m pretty sure that Miki isn’t as dense as Renge, and knows both who Renge and who the members of Zvezda are. She just can’t act overtly without blowing her own cover.

    • d-LaN says:

I keep wondering abt why do they need the Udo to power their transformation up since they just cosplay into their outfit anyway.

  4. zztop says:

I wonder where Yasu disappeared to…

  5. JPNIgor says:

Ok, I was just like, maaaan, wtf, can this show get more absurd?

And it gets! It just gets. They pull a Mashiro and puts Kate on middle school. Well, fine. And throughout the whole episode, I kept thinking with myself “no… Renge must know something. She is just playing dumb…” Or at least White Egret… And in the end they REALLY don’t have a clue on who they are. Like, a bunch of weird students just transfers (a loli, a robot, a female Captain Hook and a somewhat way too old of a guy to be on high school) and they are just as likely to be from Zvezda as anyone else from the school. Just why?

  6. BlackBriar says:

They pulled a Mashiro move from Mikakunin de Shinkoukei having Kate transfer in despite not being age qualified.

Asuta should take advantage of his spot in Zvezda to demand some respect from the others. Kate may have her leadership but like he said, the group has become so dependent that they can no longer function properly without him. Threatening to defect and leaving them prey once again to Itsuka’s cooking should shake them up.

Before the Treasure Club was revealed to be a trap from White Light, it felt like they were walking into a cult. In my mind, I was asking “Do all Japanese schools have these crazy clubs?”.

    • Highway says:

Asuta won’t leave, for the same reason he’s become the guy who does all the cooking and cleaning and washing. He likes being that guy. He likes finally having a place to belong. That’s why he’s joined Zvezda, no matter how much he complains about it. It would be so easy for him to give them up to Renge and White Light. Well, at least to Miki, cause Renge would find a way to screw it up. But he won’t, because it’s his place to be.
