Don’t be so modest, Highway. We all know you’ve been commenting a lot here. You, me and Skylion were the commenting trio on Metanorn and Muir (formally Restia) as the recruit. Just please make sure Anaaga doesn’t read this or I won’t be able to live it down! LOL. Thanks for the shout out. Over 9000, eh? I know Fosh will get there first but this site gives me enough motivation to go the distance. I mean I’ve been top commenter for almost a year. Witness me marking my legacy!!
A rule I’d put into effect would be that if you start a suspenseful story or sequence, whether action or horror, don’t ever let it end anticlimactically. There’s no way to describe how disappointed I feel when that happens. If you start well, finish it well.
Stranded island choices: Fosh (Likely able to talk about anything, regardless of the topic), Karakuri (We could talk about the manga Bloody Cross and I’ve been trying to get her into vampire anime, even recommended Trinity Blood) and Overcooled (third degree black belt and sadist. Lethal combination. It doesn’t hurt to have a sadist every now and then. LOL).
Why do I get the feeling some people may be biased in their choices for which world they’d want to live in? That would be very influenced by whatever trend that catches your interest. Since, for example, Fosh is into mechs, so I’d bet on worlds from shows like Eureka Seven AO, Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince, Infinite Stratos, Kakumeiki Valvrave, Moretsu Pirates, Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, Suisei no Gargantia, Rinne no Lagrange, Robotics;Notes. If you know what they’re into, you’ll know what they’ll choose.

Fosh saying he’d want to live in Muv-Luv Alternative is a 50/50 chance but I can guarantee you he wouldn’t say he’d want to live in Sacred Seven. That would be the biggest taboo out there.

I’m honored to be on Skylion’s stranded island. We’ll do a bi-weekly podcast, one about anime and the other basically a party conversation about anything and everything.
The question about anime worlds is very much what you say, though I think we should’ve dived further into the question, then that’s where the answers might’ve been a bit more unique.
We did do that post about the names! I’m now that host that forgets stuff we’ve already done, though in fairness, there’s 2 sites worth of podcasting and blogs that I’m trying to store up in my noggin.

Ahaha yes, you did get me to watch Trinity Blood. …Which, I’ve made extremely slooow progress on. I think I have 3-2 episodes left, but then Ion and Esther stopped being the focus and I lost interest xD

Hehehe… Strangely, I feel a lot of satisfaction with you saying that. Yeah, the last arc of Trinity Blood will feel a bit long if you don’t have the drive to want to see how the story ends and Ion and Esther aren’t the main focus. They are the best couple, aren’t they? But it will explain who Esther really is. However, on the way toward the end, I bet you loved the scene where Ion and Esther were locked in the prison cell and one of them had to make a huge choice. For me, that was the best scene of the anime and I wish there were more like that.

Man, it’s hard to listen to myself in a podcast. So many critiques, and things I need to try to work on. And thinking up answers on the fly to questions I’ve barely seen is tough.

It’s odd hearing yourself, isn’t it? I sometimes have a tough time accepting my own voice if someone recorded it because it sounds so much deeper than you think. Hahaha! Funny, you sound like someone struggling to study for a test.

Thanks, I hope… 🙂 I don’t know how much my ‘podcast voice’ is like my normal speaking voice, it may be a little different in inflection. I tend to think I sound too much like Kermit the Frog, with the way I form words.
