Anime’s Next Top Model C3 Epi5 – Loved~ ♥

The final four bishounen and bishoujo contestants are ready to show off their loving skills. Get ready for some heart leaps.

Here here here~ Another episode of Anime NTM that is. The contestant numbers are dwindling and this round is the way towards the final three. If you were getting excited over the five, time to get even more competitive as the remaining models will try their best in wooing you in this installment. Prepare to be dazzled as they partner with their better halves for a deadly game of love and seduction.

EPISODE 05 CHALLENGE

“Seeing as you’re all fired up, we’ve prepared a very special challenge for you this week,” Kyokai explains with an ominous chortle. She snaps her fingers, and a huge banner unfurls behind them. The words “Seduction Challenge” are emblazoned on the banner in hot pink, feminine writing as if a fangirl has painstakingly worked upon it. The contestants are given an hour to prepare but in their rush backstage to prepare, most of them seemed to miss the clause that the challenge is geared towards “innocent seduction” and the key is to be as sweet and charming as possible. But there isn’t anything that can be done about that now…

Saeko is the first to step out onto the stage, looking a bit shy with only an apron on and not much else. Despite her modest expression, her body tells a very, very different story. There ain’t anything innocent about THAT. Before she can finish posing, Stocking practically pushes her off of the catwalk so she can stand in the spotlight. What is she wearing? Not much… Is that even considered clothing? Inevitably, the two get into a SLUT SHOWDOWN, which really has minimal effect on the slightly disturbed, female judges. Before things turn R-18, Zabobinator signals for security to drag the two off stage and bring the next contestant out.

Except, the next contestant doesn’t come out. The camera cuts to backstage, where Senjoughara is sitting in a chair with her arms crossed, a firm expression on her face. “No.” is all she says, refusing to dress up. One of the security guards happens to prod her about the wrong subject (hint: It starts with an A and ends with an arararararararararrrrrrrrggggggg…i..) and she shoots him a look that could kill. It appears she doesn’t want to show her body off to anyone but her beloved… and there’s no convincing her otherwise without suffering several casualties.

Giving up on Senjougahara, it’s finally Nino’s turn. Once again, security is sent to fetch her from her room as she’s fallen asleep from waiting so long. Amazingly enough, she put in some effort with a rather beautiful dress. She stumbles across the catwalk and looks up at the judges with hooded eyes, still heavy with sleep. She smiles lazily towards the camera and rubs her eyes innocently, a look that makes the judges squeal. Yes! That is what they were looking for. This is the first time falling asleep during something has paid off for someone!

Coming to the boys… What all the ladies have been itching for! Gintoki is first on stage, strutting to the end of the catwalk quite casually. He seems like he might understand the theme of the contest is the innocence of attraction. What will he do? is what all the judges were thinking. He reaches slowly for his shoulder, and casts a serene smile at the judges… before ripping off all of his clothes in one go.

“FAST! THAT STRIPTEASE IS TOO FAST!” Overcooled screams at him, “Hey, wait, you’re not even supposed to be doing THAT!”

Date–who seems to have taken a liking to treading on Gintoki’s toes–steps onto the stage in nothing more than jeans. He tries to put some clothes on Gintoki, but he just takes Overcooled’s advice and starts stripping slowly whenever he tries to put something on him. Date eventually gives up and lets security take Gintoki off stage, now focusing on his act.

“Are you ready?” he croons in perfect Engrish. The girls nod, a little too excitedly.

“Baby, ret me rabu you,” he purrs, “mai dragon es waitin’.”

Good grief. This is probably the first time that Engrish has ever failed Date. Still, he seems convinced he did a good job as he walks backstage, turning around at the end and saying in his signature tone, “You seee?”

“Yes, we saw more than enough,” Kyokai added eyeing his back.

Rin is next and he’s just wearing his usual clothes. He looks incredibly nervous and awkward. He starts to sway a little bit, while unbuttoning his shirt, but his eyes kept darting around restlessly. After a long period of awkward looking dance moves, he strikes a final (embarrassing) pose and erupts in blue flames.

“Dayumm, that’s hot!” Zabo hollers in appreciation, focusing more on Rin than the ruined catwalk that has a giant crater in the middle due to the heat. A very literal attempt at being hot, but we do appreciate the effort. Once the security has extinguished the possibility of flames, leaving behind a large puddle in it’s place; finally it’s Natsume’s turn.

He starts walking across the catwalk, wearing a breezy yukata and a refreshing mask as a prop. He looks plain and stoic, but he’s a lot closer to the innocent look they were going for. As he tries to avoid the puddle, he ends up slipping and falling in it. As the judges check to see if he’s okay, he looks up at them in pain from his disheveled state. The blush on his face from over-exertion, the open yukata, the sultry look in his eyes is simple PERFECTION!

“We have a winner.” Kyokai says with a grin, going to help him up. “Both Natsume and Nino are our winners!”
