Freezing (NSFW) – 06

More girl-on-girl fighting this week! And the start of a developing love triangle? Well, solo review for this week’s Freezing. I was kind of happy to see this episode after I started reading a few chapters of the manhwa, which is better than the anime version, having more fanservice, which is what sells this show for most.

Plot is simple to follow, Rana has feelings for Aoi and wants to fight Satellizer for him!  And the grey drill-haired girl seems to be pushing her plans into action. Not much of story development yet, mostly who has the best powers and can kick more ass.

After a friendly spar against Genessa, Rana finds Aoi at lunch and gets all clingy on him, getting really close to his face! Kiss him already damned girl, we need drama. She pushes Aoi into just calling her Rana, Satellizer overhears this and requests the same. Really… this is your drama? Worried about what they call you? Anyway, Attia Simmons aka drill-hair, speaks to Rana alone and informs her that Satellizer is just using Aoi.

Rana sneaks into Satellizer’s bedroom and they enter the gym to settle things between them! With Aoi as the main prize? Lucky guy or doomed forever! With them knowing, Attia watches them fight as she gets a bit scared of their power. Aoi arrives just as Attia has her grunts ready to fight; yeah, so awesome, fighting someone that just took an epic beating. Episode ends with Rana and Satellizer forced to assist each other with the girls.

-Rana-“DUDETTE, YOU NEED A BREATH MINT”               Satellizer-“….Your mom’s a breath mint…ya..”

Finally a bloody fight! Satellizer could have cut an arm off at least.

End thoughts:

Interesting show so far, I really like the addition of Rana, who does have that hyper personality especially around Aoi. Which I don’t mind so much in a show like this, you have your typical depressed or always angry characters. Satellizer is a decent character but I can’t stand how she has like two sides to her, the moe glasses girl and then the aggressive non glasses mode.

Rana finally gets to show off her weapons during her spar, I do like characters like her who fights a bit like Yoruichi of Bleach. So, I guess I am into the whole melee fist fighter type. She does show off more flashy moves when she finally battles Satellizer. That fight was not too bad! Nice to see some actual blood shed this time.

Can’t wait to see next week! I really want to see if Attia fights and the other girl’s weapons. Should be a great one, now we can see if Rana will team up with Satellizer! Maybe Aoi can power both of them up? I do wish they would wear the mech like suits from the manga when then enter Pandora mode. Ah well, six episodes left!

Next week seems to have a bit of fighting and chatting going on. All I really want to see is more Rana kicking butt and taking names! I look forward to Aoi giving the girls a bit of an edge in the fight.
