Beelzebub – 06
Best. Episode. Ever.
I don’t have much to say this week aside from does anyone want to riot against the mangakas’ of CLAMP? The sharper the pitchforks the better. Now, onto Beelzebub!
Oga’s mark reverts back to it’s original form as just a small symbol on his fist because of his good behaviour and lack of pummelling. Hilda is not pleased, breaking his games console much to Oga’s horror.
GAME OVER
She’s brought with her some toys for Baby Beel to play with from the underworld. Her and Oga set up what looks like a play pen of death only to get trapped inside it. Luckily Oga is able to go demon mode and blasts it to smithereens, freeing them, and causing his mark to go back to covering most of his arm.
Enlisting the help of the ever reluctant Furuichi, Oga’s pretty confident his can get the mark to revert. To keep Baby Beel from getting bored Oga brought along the sack of underworld toys and while playing with one of them, the three are forced into an eternal c♥splay of Doctors and Nurses! Okay, maybe not eternal, but at least until Beel cures a patient.
Easier said than done…
Anyway, they take over the school nurse’s office “curing” anyone unlucky enough to drop by. The twins, Shimokawa and that guy with the huge teeth decide to band together to defeat Oga only to be picked off one by one when they get to the nurses office.
After knocking the four of them into a coma Oga and Furuichi realize Beel had an object that could heal everyone instantly and so they use it on the four just in time to blow them all up again, making Oga loose his temper and for the mark to grow back. Progress: it hates Oga’s guts.

END THOUGHTS
I needed a little cheering up this week so Beelzebub was just what the doctor ordered. With the cr♥ss-dressing bug rearing it’s fabuloooous~ head, this episode was so full of win. Tbh, Oga was kinda terrifying with his dark lipstick and evil cackle, but the amount of cr♥ss-dressing this season is quite impressive. Hell, we even have a whole series devoted to it in Wandering Son! And I am n♥t complaining.
The only downside to this episode is that the animation quality took a very obvious nose dive. Bad movements or expressions was just rampant and it really distracted me from the jokes and stuff, making the episode less enjoyable. I know this won’t be the case for everyone but if I notice a mistake I zero in on it and can’t really ignore it. It really bothers me, since animation is one of the reasons if not the main reason I watch anime in the first place.
But at least our poor neglected comedy relief villains got some time in the spotlight this episode. I love the brothers, they make the best horrified faces, maybe even better than Furuichi. I loved the part when they went to beat up Oga only to be scared stiff by what they saw going on in the nurse’s office. I was literally on the floor laughing. (Okay, maybe not literally, but still!) And all those horrible t♥ys! Oh my God, they all look like they’re from the most disturbed sex sh♥p ever.

This episode = <3. I laughed so hard watching it. I especially loved the Principal parts. So random. xD I also loved the part where Baby Beel is about to put in the circle puzzle piece but ends up smashing it against the puzzle instead – and he gets all happy about it. xD Very random and hilarious episode. I can't wait for the next one! <3
