Merry the hero!
Not much going on this week other than birthdays of Ness and Ruby! Hope you two had a great one, course more crazy fun with the Sccsav google group. Watched Madoka and Fractale with them, great stuff to watch with others! Well, time to visit more trippy dream worlds with Merry.
This week we follow Mei Hoshino, the leader of the writing club who seems to have a new friend she has been texting a lot, named Chris who turns out to be a dream demon. Yumeji jumps into Mei’s dream world and is later joined by Merry to help defeat the demon.
Texting to friends, “Soaked, please send umbrella.”

After the end of writing class, everyone decides to go out and Karaoke together! Sounds like Saturday nights on skype, always a good thing. As everyone leaves the school they spot Merry, who failed at sneaking in; she finally meets them and tags along with the them.

They booked the high class Madoka room for the party!
After the Karaoke fun, Mei visits the coffee house acting strange and Yumeji hearing Chris stood her up for a date until he realizes she wasn’t really acting like her normal self. He also notices the strange symbols on her eyes and the fact that she texted herself with another phone! If that doesn’t scream crazy then I have no idea. Yumeji gives chase and enters Mei’s dream world to confront the demon alone, until Merry arrives to play the role of hero.
This demon was definitely different than others because his intentions were not all bad. The romantic angle was unexpected, the end leaving a bittersweet feeling behind. However, Mei did get her two cents across so it was good. Definitely a notch up from the last episode as the friendship between Merry and Yumeji develops.

End thoughts
This was an entertaining episode, in which we learn, once a demon takes a body over it no longer needs to open the gate to the dream world, which tells us Merry can’t do much to actually help people who are taken over. So, I guess Yumi might be screwed for now, then again we have no idea what happened with that girl yet. They never really showed she was taken over or not! However I am sure Merry will figure out something to help.
I really enjoyed Mei’s character; she was really cute during the Karaoke scenes, mostly during the talk about the mysterious friend of hers. It was great seeing how Merry got to meet the other friends, thanks to some image searches I’m waiting for that beach-themed episode to pop up soon enough! It was cute how Merry acted with the games and electronics in our world, really shows her curious side off. She can sure do the cha-cha-cha!
The fight between the demon and Merry again this week was much like last episode, more on the mellow side than BAMF! I still want to see another fight like Chaser! But I guess this will have to do for now. That aside nothing too dramatic or action packed happening so far; I have a feeling Chizuru might do something to Isana if given the chance since it appears she is under a demon’s control.

Next week! Looks like Merry is getting used to living life as a human with Isana and Yumeji. Also a new student with the angel like demon inside of her! So, expect some fighting to go down; let’s just hope it’s better this time around.

Ahem! Anyways, it was a nice development now that Merry has decided to (kinda) team up with Yumeji with the whole dream chasing thing and also accepting her title as a hero ^^ I sense tsundere material from Merry, did I just say tsundere? Merry's my favourite character now!!!! <3 Chizuru is most likely possessed by a demon or is either working along side the demon, we'll never know till they reveal it I guess. As for Isana, I'm loving her carefree positive side ever more =3 She's so cuute~ And also she so has a crush on Yumeji, only if Yumeji could notice it, but usually in these type of anime, a Yumeji X Isana is not gonna happen… It's more going to be a Yumeji X Merry…
Mei is also a very cute, innocent character too. And the whole being fully possessed (although it didn't seem like it since Merry said if your full possessed you can't return to normal but Mei did!) was a new way of kicking things off. The only thing we need now is a BRS fighting scene and art added to Merry's next encounter in the dream world! IT WOULD BE EPIC!!!

Agreed about time she joined up with Yumeji! Hahah yeah I think she likes her new name and likes being a hero lol.
Yeah something is up with Chizuru I have a feeling she probably would get close to Isana just to get to her dreams, I guess we will keep an eye on her.
Yeah Mei wasn’t to bad of a character you can really tell she left a impression on Merry.

Right this episode compared to the other ones, but sets up for the series anyway you can tell where things are going to repeat.
Right the quiet girl! Something is wrong with her she does have something important soon! lets just hope nothing bad happens to Isana.
Yumi was the redhead girl in the third episode, she had that elf spirit.

Mei had two cell phones. If you watch some scenes closely, since she was possessed as a vessel, she thought she was receiving messages from Chris when her possessed-self was texting her using another cellphone.

During the scene with Mei about to leave the cafe, she has a blue phone she texts on then you see the shot of the pink phone going off.
