What does one of them say? ‘Suggested incest but there is none!’. Well. I should probably go back and take that tag out right now. Or just replace it with ‘Boobies’. That seems the most appropriate tag for episode four. Boobies and ass. Well, I made that last part up.

It seems Kyousuke is living the Otaku life. It’s summer holidays so he’s holed up inside his room playing a good ‘ol Eroge Beat-em-Up (what an AMAZING genre). Unfortunately, he sucks ass so he seeks help from Kirino who just tells him to get better and also mentions she’s having friends over the next day, and that he shouldn’t come out of his room. What a bitch. So as Kyousuke goes back to train his Eroge Beat-em-Up skills and ends up playing against good ol’ creepy Saori. The next day, Kirino’s mates come over in the form of little Kurusu Kanako and Aragaki Ayase, who looks pretty much exactly like Kirino, except with black hair,and trouble ensues. As the girls all hang out in Kirino’s room, making fun of Kyousuke, the household receives a package from Saori. Kirino, thinking it’s cosmetics, steals in and runs off to show her little friends.

After learning that the package does not contain things such a powder you apply to your face (is that cosmetics? I don’t do make-up. Honest), he quickly steals it back, with Kirino in close chase. After an awkward fall, it seems Kyousuke somehow stripped Kirino of her essential clothing and groped her. Her friends come along and everything gets very awkward, very quickly. Kyousuke is left outside until Kirino’s friends leave, and as they do, it seems Ayase doesn’t think that Kyousuke is the dirty pervert Kirino makes him out to be. They give each other awkward smiles and exchange mail addresses until Kyousuke is called back inside by Kiririnshi. For ruining her image in front of her friends, she demands that Kyousuke takes her somewhere for the summer holidays. But where oh where should they go?

Summer Comiket, of course! Along with Saori and Kuroneko, Kirino and Kyousuke all head out to Comiket and stand in the sun and blazing heat for hours on end just to get into the building. Despite Kirino acting like a bitch once again, as soon as she steps foot inside the building, she lights up like a goddamned Christmas tree. The four of them walk around Comiket, getting various things signed, meeting some new people and Kyousuke seems to be introduced to some dirty doujinshi. Strangely enough, Kirino seems it’s about high time that Kuroneko removes her kit and proceeds to strip her of some of her clothing, just for the Gothloli fans. And Kyousuke is treated as a pack mule. I know the feeling…

As a final, er, finale, the four head over to the ‘Alice +’ stand, the creators of the Eroge Beat-em-Up, ‘Siscalypse’, the one Kyousuke, Kirino and Saori play. As Kirino goes to buy some limited edition whatever, it seems they’re sold out, save for one last copy which you can only acquire by beating one of the developers at the game. As Kirino and Saori fall at the developers hand, it seems all hope is lost. But of course, Gothloli Kuroneko turns out to be highly proficient at the game, beating the developer and letting Kirino have the prize. As everyone leave Comiket, Kirino especially in high spirits, they accidently stumble into a certain someone…

A certain… AYASE. DUN DUN DUUUUUUN

Oh boy.

Just in case there were any innocent children in the audience, I’m sorry Kyosuke ruined it with his absent minded groping. While no, it’s not technically incest, it’s still goddamn suggestive. A bit too suggestive. Pedo brother aside, the episode quite nicely introduced Ayase into the main plot. She looks a bit too similar to Kirino (was she also the supposed sister right at the beginning of the show? Episode one…?) and she also seems a little too nice. No one in their right mind would approach someone who tried to get down and dirty with his own sister. Right?

Going from last weeks (well, many weeks ago now…) episode, I thought the entire episode would be about Comiket so I was a little confused towards the start. Once it actually got into things, I understood. The Comiket half felt a shorter though, maybe it was? I’m not actually sure, I wasn’t timing. Though I did enjoy the badass battle between developer and Kuroneko. It kinda reminded me of Daigo vs. Kayopolice. If you haven’t seen it, WATCH IT NOW. Pretty damn amazing. Maybe Kuroneko was born a dude as well…?

While 5 has come and gone, it will be up. I’ll joint 5 and 6 so I can get back on the Oreimo train. The series is moving quicker now, and I’m sure a lot of the event from earlier on in the episodes will come back towards the end of the series. Big emotional breakdowns, more incest, less incest, who knows. But to the small group of people who say it, I tell them firmly ‘No’. The series would not end well if it ended up like ‘Kiss x Sis’. That would make it ‘Kiss x Sis’ and not Oreimo.
