Kyokai: Domo minnasan~ Time to get busy with the upcoming Fall Anime season and it looks quite promising indeed. Welcome to our first Team post, we bring you a detailed Fall Anime 2010 Season Review! Including everything under the fall sun so sit back, relax and read on! ^^
Hoshi: Yay, Fall Season~! When I obtained this enormous list of animes, OVAs, and movies galore, I become really excited, and pretty fangirly ^^; I just hope all my expectations for this season don’t go down the tube~.
Overcooled: Hello, everyone! Thanks for reading! I didn’t even realize that so many series were coming out this Fall…Wow…Some of them have me really excited, and as usual, I shake my head at some of them as well. Come, take my hand, and follow us on this journey~. We promise to entertain. *smirk*
Ryuuko: Hey guys! Well, well, well, looking forward to the Fall season already! I won’t deny that the amount of work that went into this review was huuuuge!! But please consider it as a present from all of us to you guys, especially the ones that keep coming back and leaving comments here and there to make the work worthwhile! Hato-kun: And so it begins! I’m finally here previewing anime for Fall 2010! With so many shows out this upcoming season will anything actually be worth watching? Well, we’ll all be sure to tell you, so read on! Maybe there will be a few hidden gems….
Masu: Oh joy, the season that I love the most has come at last. Oh autumn, how I wish to see your red-orange foliage, to feel your crispy morning air. Oh, how I love to wait in your cool embrace for the chill of winter. Oh, how I would much like just to bask and wait, to sleep and dream of fiery trees and snow covered lands. But, fall season also means new shows. And that means work. =3= buu!
Flags: Fall sure looks better than Summer, even better than last year’s lineup. I’ll be covering all the good shows so you know whose reviews to read… (>.<)b I’ll add in more when I get back from Toronto. Till then, get chance and luck!
Kyokai: Like always, the catalogue also includes a complete list of Movies and OVAs; also, as we have an extensive number of TV series, they have been divided into sections as per our interests and wanting to do something fabulous~.

According to this post, the game is actually very good, but that probably means Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na was a good game too, given how it was ported to the PS2, got a PC remake, and was ported to the PSP. Same developer so yeah. But we all know of its infamous QUALITY adaption.
How did you guys come to the conclusion of Fruits Basket = Starry Sky…? o Ao;;

You didn’t think Fruits Basket? Lol I thought ’12 zodiacs personified’, ‘reverse harem’-type with 12 guys and a girl and couldn’t stop thinking Fruits Basket haha. Though we’re dealing with a different genre of course so I don’t know how long that’s gonna last. 😀

Oh! I almost forgot about the zodiacs part! I watched the Furuba animu back in 2006 and all I can remember is that Akito is a dude in the animu and a lady in the mango.
There are thirteen guys though. Ophiuchus came.

thank goodness fall anime lineup is SOOO much better than summer’s! i’m gonna be busy ALL fall long man xD even though i’m only going to be watching like 3 animes (fail X-X) arakawa under the bridge 2 (cross dressing war obsessed Sister? why the hell not?! :3), psychic detective yakumo (i’ma sucker for horror, supernatural, mystery stuffz xD besides, the main guy is a bishie :D), and world god only knows (i’m a loyal follower of the manga, even though it wasn’t interesting i’m curious to see how it looks like animated :3) if there’s anything else that’s interesting, then i’ll watch it xD until then, i’ll pay attention to your anime reviews!! 😀

I’m a lot more excited for this upcoming season than I was for the summer season too :3 Only 3 for now? You should sample a bit of everything and see if you like it~ You might find something surprisingly good that way! …or maybe just boring shows <_< Looks like almost everyone is vying to see the next season of Arakawa, kekeke.

Yosuga no Sora, The World God Only Knows, Shinrei Tantei Yakumo, Starry Sky (though the guy who’s Libra doesn’t look that cute D; Plus, all the signs I supposedly compatible with are the dudes I think look meh), Mirai Nikki, and Tamayura seem to be the ones I’ll be checking out. Some of the summaries gave me a good laugh though XD

Well, at least Fall season seems more promising than the Summer season….. Though there aren’t that much anime that grabbed my attention, as always I’m being a crazy out-and-outer, on some of them I almost squealed… :bow
Anyways, a must see in my list will be “Bakuman”. I just got interested in the series, the art looks gorgeous, the storyline promises just another comedy anime, but I’m in for it. I guess I’m pretty much weak against series that involve any kinds of art… :dumb
I might check out “Hakuouki”, well, not much of an interest in it, I liked the first season though it was a little boring, but I’d rather watch IT, that some ecchi or extra-moe series….. :bleh: I stay away from that goodness (no offense to the ones who like it ^^ )
“Shinrei Tantei Yakumo” and “Deadman wonderland” also seem to be interesting and dark. :oha: any supernatural anime is an auto must-see in my list :tea

Another absolute Must-see are Kuroshitsuji specials and Bleach. Yes, I’m a bleach follower, even though I don’t read manga. I started reading but I didn’t like it :bleh: The movie seems interesting though, I was wondering, when would they tell us something about the Hell… Can’t wait to see it :tea
So, I guess this is it for my fall season….. of course until I’ll get to know a bit more about the certain series. Indeed, the Fall season does seem more promising than Summer and maybe even the Spring season, but I’m not in awe either. At least, until I’ll get a GOOD look at it with my own eyes.

Like you, I've a wariness with moe and forget ecchi altogether unless it's accompanied by some awesome storyline/horror (e.g. HOTD) so no problems there! It's sad to see that Deadman Wonderland would be releasing next year, so that takes away a title from my list (which is very populated as I'll be sampling most of this stuff anyway... >.>)
And don’t worry, we will get you first looks at all the good shows so no worries from missing all the good stuff. ^^
PS: Hato will be fine as he’s a lolicon anyway (We’ve started kidding about this way more than before, poor Hato… xD)

I’m sorry guys, but I don’t think I’m gonna follow your posts. By the way I read this article, you’re gonna only cover the things I don’t give a damn shit (okay except Mardock Scrable). For me, Gundam 00 and Fafner are in my top five of best shows I have ever watched. No offense to anybody, but I cannot feel someone I can related to. Only Hoshi has watched old Gundam shows (bro fist!!) and I hate Flags too (XD jk).

Oh boy…and I thought our fall preview was going to be long! O_O
Anyways, I have come to a shocking realization: a lot of my tastes match those of the Metanorn team! I’m glad that you guys are looking out for the oddities, not just the popular series. But who am I to say what’s popular or not? In fact, why should I care? To each his/her own, right? XD
As for specific series: I’m pretty sure Shinrei Tantei Yakumo has the highest regard of any show in fall 2010. I’m also not too enthused about Bakuman. I’ve read some of the manga, and (to be honest) I wasn’t too excited. I’m not sure why; it just didn’t grip me like most manga would. Panty & Garterbelts certainly is intriguing, though I’m not sure what to expect. Kuragehime simply grabbed me with the mention of josei, since I’m a rather big fan of slice-of-lifes focusing on college. And then there was that healing anime (too lazy to see look up the name)…that’s definitely one to look out for. Junichi Sato is amazing, as seen by the wondrous ARIA. Then again, ARIA’s source was a manga coming from the even more amazing Amano Kozue, so we’ll see I guess…

I plan on getting the first looks done of almost all the series for sure to test the waters and then go for the ones we would really want to cover for episodics. That would take care the most of it. Also, here here, for his/her own right! xD

I don’t get all the instant PASSes on Starry Sky. It’s not anything like Furuba; different Zodiac and concept, and it’s only a reverse harem in the anime most likely. Playing the games, it’s pretty one on one, boy/girl. And watching a series just for the saiyuu is kind of shallow.

As always I enjoyed reading all of you comments. You guys made me laugh and talk to the computer. Even my sister asked me “Who are you talking to?”. Like Hoshi said in the beginning, I hope my expectation for this season doesn’t go down the tube ’cause the summer one sure did. I’m actually looking forward to 17 titles, way more than summer season, and I’ll be waiting for your episodic reviews that I oh so love!

Goulart Knights is like Starry Sky mixed with Vampire Knight for some reason… You gotta admit the clothes are similar. I’m interested in the plot though.

I’m not sure about the resemblance with Starry sky as it’s game adaptation while Goulart Knights is an original animation from Lantis. The uniforms do look similar to VK from the main image but check out the actual colour and design and you’ll see a definitely difference.

Actualy i am just looking forward to the fall season but fall means school (mine starts monday 😥 ) which means less time for anime and fangirling and more studying

Aaah man! Monday blues and School…. not a good combination. And it always seems a nuisance when you see such an awesome line-up and that is what Fall has become now. ZOMG! I am soo looking forward to this season! It’s been so boring only watching like 4 series -_- blah the summer season was just so disappointing >.<
Looking forward to bakuman (especially since i just finished read what was out of the manga XD). Also super excited about the second season of Hakuouki and Tegami Bachi (hopefully the anime will stick to the manga more for the latter)
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo and Starry Sky are definitly on my watch-list… How can i pass up an supernatural shoujo and a reverse-harem? XP

Little correction in the Index II write up. You said there are now 15 novels, that is wrong. There are 21 novels as of August 10th and the 22nd novel is scheduled for release on October 10th.
