EVE no Jikan: 03 – The right to love

A guy lying in bed with a woman; a girl who seems to be waiting for her lover… They are Koji and Rina respectively: the two individuals who seemed to be gathering Rikuo and Masaki’s attention in the Eve cafe lately. With Rina’s assets, she sure is a stand-out, which is why Rikuo find it hard not to notice her. Masaki and Nagi caught Rikuo to seem very interested in the them so Nagi suggested a chat between the two couples…

act03: KOJI and RINA

Lol at Rikuo who seem to not focus on the conversation. Masaki is awesome too for slapping Rikuo out so loud XD, that they are heard throughout the whole cafe.

Rikuo, who is kind of a tech-freak, notices Koji’s camera and starts to help him operate it. There, a huge holographic display is activated which displays all the pictures taken in that camera.

Wow.

Rina noticed that there’s a picture of Koji lying in the bed with another woman, which ruined that mood of excitement and made Rina walk away. When Rikuo followed her, he watched from a dark corner as he found out something about Rina’s true self.

Rikuo saw Rina pulling up her skirt and reveals broken machinery in her legs. She is in fact, an android.

Rina caught Rikuo looking at him and she can’t deny anything now so she just explained everything to him. Rina was in fact a bodyguard serving his master. Due to a certain incident where they had been attacked, Rina saved him and took a bullet. She was supposed to be repaired, but she preferred to stay at the cafe to find inner peace, and there she found Koji.

At the other side of the cafe, Masaki is lecturing Koji about having a relationship with an android. But he was surprised when Koji revealed that he was an android all along.

Koji actually has a master too. And his master seems to be tired of human males and she’s always in need of love, and in this case, the only one she has is Koji so she only wants to be with him. Well, he actually can’t disobey her because of coughsfirst lawcoughs.

Now that Rikuo and Masaki are both over with their conversations on each half of the couple, they finally brought Rina back to Koji in their table and give them some time alone again. What’s really cool is that they both found out that the couple are both androids ^_^.

Back at his Rikuo’s house, he noticed about Sammy’sa sudden change, having to wear a cute pink headband. When he asked her about it, Sammy asked him back, if Rikuo likes it. 🙂

This episode is so cute and sweet, plus kudos again to the writers for putting up a very happy resolution to Koji and Rina. I was really expecting them at first to be in some kind of human x robot relationship and it’s the least that I would expect of them to be both androids.

I must say that Masaki’s my current favorite character. He’s a very mature person, even though he’s just a schoolboy, plus lol at how he’s showing too much care for Rikuo XD. He seems to be a very precious friend and I like how he shows deep attention to his surroundings, way too different than other secondary male leads in some series.

Sammy is also cute, but there’s not much screentime of her here! The final scene on this episode was just so cute and gave me a feeling that Rikuo’s really a Dori-Kei after all XD… Plus his expressions are so funny.

Overall, this episode was really entertaining again and as usual, the long wait really paid off. It leads to some romantic hints between Rikuo and Sammy but too bad because I want Rikuo to end up with Masaki XDD lol. Gah… I can’t wait for  the next episode, which would be on April T.T… Long wait again…
