GA-REI -zero- 01: Nice Coffee.
GA-REI -zero- basically doesn’t follow the manga (yet) so it really kept me interested and I’ve been anticipating it since summer. It was really exciting because like Jigoku Shoujo, it is an original production, meaning it doesn’t follow everything and I assure myself that I will be waiting for every episode of it. And GA-REI -zero- did an excellent job on creating its first episode. Just… AWESOME

This show is just awesome sauce. Cool animation. Cool girl riding a motorcycle kicking butts. Cool main guy (though he only has guns… not MOTORCYCLES.). There’s no OP and ED sequence yet, which I found also really cool for the episode started mysteriously and ended up quietly. It also has the best thing a first episode of an anime could have. Action, romance, suspense, drama, explosions, car crashings, burning people, guns, guns, guns, a hot guy, motorcycle pr0n, coffee, blue butterflies, a bubbly girl, blood, and a white-haired guy. Ironically, because of too much action, I felt totally sleepy… And then we head over to the now-infamous last few minutes (which I want to call, the Nice Coffee massacre ^_^)… IT’S JUST THAT AWESOME. After watching one by one got killed, the main guy got his head cut off, and the quotation “Will you kill someone you love because of love?” came in, I was speechless and all O_O. Then I burst into my sadistic, devious laughter. Really. That was a fun ride for a first episode. I was wrong about Kuroshitsuji being the best first episode of Fall (but I looove Kuroshitsuji though ^_^). This joins up Shigofumi on one of the best anime pilot episodes ever.
